often, no, not necessarily... think it's just too complex and circumstantial per individual

From what I’ve seen, yes, 100%. I think it has to do with an individuals karma. We all have it. Most of us want things we can’t have.

Yes. I don't think you can avoid your destiny. That's what makes it "destiny".

The quote is true for me. I did not marry my husband when I was young... but I am married to him now.

I've also repeatedly left the country for the city until realizing, I belong in the country.

It's weird how dreams of grandeur can morph over time.

Absolutely. But I also believe it’s within my intentions. Creating, sowing seeds, speaking, day-dreaming, submitting to the pain and trauma and embracing who I am in the midst of self loathing and self hatred and wishing I were someone else with their strong sense of self. 
I am who I am in this life and Absolutely believe this. My intentions play a significant role in which design of destiny I succumb.

So yes, 100 percent, wholeheartedly believe these words.
