Have you heard of the covid-19 pound weight gain?

I have gained four pounds since this began. I am going to try to check this. It’s pure stress eating.

Have you gained weight recently?

I’ve lost 4 pounds and I am stress eating too.  I wonder if it could be the yoga?

In the beginning of March I started doing a long session every day instead of 3 days a week. I don’t want to take the meds they advise for osteoporosis and I found out there are studies that show that daily yoga builds bone. (You have to hold the poses 30-60 seconds.)

My husband says it could be muscle replacing fat. I dunno but it feels really good.

When people are stuck in the house all day, they can eat out of boredom, stress, or habit.

I’ve actually lost weight. Looks like the virus broke my addiction to fast food. I’m paranoid even about ordering take-out!

From where I’m at, before they shut down even the fast food places in my area, the servers at the fast food places wore gloves.

I’m still nervous about ordering food because I guarantee you some workers are still handling food while sick with this virus.

Then again, same thing is happening with meat packers right now. They get COVID-19, they still have families and likely have no sick leave either, and their employers tell them to wash their hands and keep on working. We’re all screwed, LOL yell

When I worked in assisted living and we would have an outbreak of something (like norovirus), we were expected to work while sick since so many people were sick anyway. I saw cooks throw up in the kitchen garbage bin and keep on working. No wonder we all got sick! I hope they’re not doing that now. I’d rather have the runs coming from both ends than be on a ventilator.

I love cooking and I also love eating, so I’ve gained a couple.  I wish I loved to exercise as much as I love to eat and cook, but alas, it ain’t happening so far.  At least I don’t have a sweet tooth.

I think I’ll be okay once the weather gets a little nicer and I can be outside.  I’ve ordered a couple of pizzas and other stuff, because I do want to support my local businesses during this time, but normally I don’t eat much takeout food.

Yes, I’ve gained a little weight…I am working to reverse that now. Definitely did some stress eating. I’ve been getting takeout this past week to support local businesses and to delay having to shop, but I’m kinda over it at this point. Ready to just stay home and minimize grocery trips, which means conserving food and not eating more than necessary.
