Cooking frenzy continues. Tonight is chicken fajitas with black beans and peppers from my garden... splitting dinner with Jilly and her husband who is down with a cold.

I cook a lot but this is A LOT. I checked my Lunar return - Jupiter is conjunct the IC and here I am cooking and giving away food, all over!  Venus is also in Cancer!

Also, I'm even watching a cooking show with a family (4th) that swears all the time, calling each other, "fuk-o"! lololol

My husband and I are definitely going to watch that show!

Last night I made chipped rutabaga and red onion sauteed in butter, with kielbasa. I added fresh sage and parsley at the end. That was it - very inexpensive, and satisfying. Well, I had a matcha late and a cookie afterwards, but my husband was satisfied.

Tonight we're doing a grilled rack of lamb, green beans, and maybe some of the sourdough bread that my neighbor just gave me.

I just made this chuck roast in the slow cooker that turned out great, I highly recommend.

Chop up some carrots, gold potatoes and onion (large pieces) and put into the crockpot.

Season the chuck roast and brown it in a pan on high heat, then put it on top of the root vegetables.

Pour in about 16 oz of beef broth.

Cook on low till done, about 8 hours.

Trust me, make this dinner. The potatoes especially were so good. I thought they'd turn to mush but they didn't. And minimal effort in the morning for a dinner that's ready to go later on in the day. Good Sunday meal!

Made oatmeal raisin walnut cookies, and rice crispy treats but with cinnamon toast crunch instead... which chocolate drizzle on top
