I wound up cooking most of the day. Have enough sauce to can 7 qts tomorrow. Garden is winding down. In fact, we're getting into the 50's this week!

Boneless ribeye. Sous vide to 120F and finished on the grill. Sautéed chard with garlic olive oil salt and pepper. Ethiopian salad with garden tomato peppers onion and spicy garlic dressing. Haven’t eaten yet but that’s the plan 🙂

Tonight I warmed up leftovers from two nights ago.  That night I made chicken fajitas modified from a Epicurious recipe. I made it the day my husband came home from a weekend visit to his brother's home. Usually he cooks.

Lately I’m all about sauces. New sauces to make the same old  o ring stuff taste better.

This is not really a sauce yet, but it is so good on everything: diced super fine or blended: garlic, onion, ginger, cilantro and pickled jalapeños. Oh, and mint. Added some  rice vinegar and a bit of sugar and yow.

Im away and in a rented kitchen but tons of fresh produce available. Don’t have any of my usual tools, but more flavors than I ever get at home.
