Anyone here ever come across this phrase?
Today I was reading comments on a Russell Brand video. Someone called him as “controlled opposition”.
I had to look it up. Never heard of this before today. Basically this means that there are people (celebrities, influencers, etc.) who are government agents disguised as Pied Pipers leading their followers to freedom (or they look conservative but talk like a liberal, something like that). Wolf in sheep’s clothing.
I have wondered about people like him—Beau of the Fifth Column (who was supposedly a trafficker/ human smuggler back in the day) and maybe Trae Crowder. ZDoggMd. Where are all these people coming from? Is this another trick? They appear to espouse a set of beliefs but if it’s a mind game?
Neptune is slippery, y’all. Just be careful that the people signaling you to freedom aren’t part of the system, too.
By the way, I am confusing myself right now. Neptune/Mercury.
Yes, they are part of the system. All of them.
People on (all) radio and tv say what they are told to say. This is why they are on radio and tv.
Expand this now to people with large social media followings. You do not get that kind of audience unless you've agreed to toe the line.
Elected/selected... you get famous by doing as you're told. You cannot get famous unless you are allowed to get famous.
I know this - I turned the deal down a decade back.
I'm glad you bring this up. My solar return chart this year includes an 8th house stellium (with sun) and early degree Scorpio rising. I knew the rabbit hole existed but just call me the Energizer bunny at the pace I am hopping along into the darkness. Did anyone watch the Netflix series Behind Her Eyes? We might as well be living amid that for all we know.
I didn't see that show but it just occurred to me, the control is Saturn. Without the control, there would be rebellion (Uranus). But these fake people on both sides make people think they have company in their beliefs, etc.
This is the Hegelian dialectic that I’ve mentioned often in the past. Thesis/antithesis/synthesis. Also could be called problem/reaction/solution.
Two options offered, both of which serve a particular agenda. Like me asking my son “do you want salad or broccoli?” Either way he gets vegetables.
