Is there something that is common in society today, you would like to move beyond? I'll tell you what I am sick of besides the obvious. I am sick of bullying. I am sick of adults bullying both other adults and children.

I wonder about how a person might have an affect on this seeing as you can't control other people... and there is not really any law or recourse anymore.

The best I can come up with is to shun people like this. Don't give them a platform by avoiding their platform.

I don't like that being a mean snake has become normalized.  It's like every character on tv is an asshole.  People pick up, often times, they do this consciously. I'm sure of this, based on my firsthand experience.

You may have a better idea.  But either way, what would you like to move beyond in this new year?

I agree with the bullying - horrible, low and rife. I ignore people like this.

I would also like to see an end to people absolving themselves of personal, moral and social responsibilities, they feel they can act any way they want - bullying again etc, and then lay the blame at someone else's feet. To me, we all have a responsibility to be at the very, very least, decent and honourable. I do always point this out to offending folks, but they just don't get it 🤔

Agree with the bullying.  If we could collectively just turn our backs when people act like this.  I believe this is part of a larger issue, however, and that is the devaluing of life overall. We're seeing this on steroids with the c-thing now.

Each person is irreplaceable and unique.  We should be interacting with each other as though it's an honor and maybe, just maybe, they have an important story.

...although, I can think of a person or two who deserve the firing squad right about now.  Shocked

Agreed.

I could easily do away with those who prey upon other in an advantageous way. There's a lesson in it for all parties involved, but the immediate impact if extremely tangible and emotionally volatile to the point where I become a monster to combat the other monster.

Here in AZ, a popular Hispanic American trend is this company called or shirts with the phrase "Toxico" on written on them, or hats, whatever.

It praises and highlights being toxic, or being in toxic relationships.

The most popular shows are cartel shows/novellas. Cocaine is still the drug of choice (which makes people assholes, careless, and more).

I understand incorporating the shadow, but the shadow has been turned into a corporation and sold on any blank screen, shirt, or hat.

The other thing I could do away with is greed, hoarding.

@darkaquarian Lol, a girl I work with (I actually think I’ve told you about her) was using that word toxico the other day in a conversation with someone else that I was eavesdropping on (yes Mercury in Scorpio will do thiz ) and I was like wtf is she talking about? Haha. I picked up that she was talking about a relationship she had been in with.

@libra-noir I recall the person you speak of.

Glad to add a piece to your puzzle. Seems we are both picking up on word trends.
