Creepy but fun, or simply wacko?

We - Best Friend and I - are looking for things to watch...

Extremely disturbing.
First episode rated 8.0 (0f 10)
Second rated 8.4
Third rated 8.9

This was my experience too. It's very well done (in 2011, which makes it more interesting) but seriously, seriously disturbing, showing how depraved we are as a society.

Um...it is billed as Twilight Zone for the current day. I think that's correct. But it's focused on the shadow side of technology and quite terrifying because it's not that big of a stretch.

The current post on technology made me think of this post. Has anyone watched Black Mirror? The new season? Thoughts?

As the above post mentions...it is extremely disturbing. Aside from that, it speaks directly about the potential consequences (positive/negative) of technological advancements.

The show is well done, they know how to escalate the horror, it starts out more or less benign and takes you to these terrifying places. Just like technology and surveillance, it seems harmless on the surface, until you realize just how far it could go and already has.

Very Pluto in Aquarius preview...

This is a show I cannot ''binge watch'', it's too intense.

Like Elsa said, the scary thing is, it's not that big of a stretch. Much of the technology already exists.

I didn't realize I basically summarized Elsa's post above. So sorry...embarassed

It's true, it's not that far of a stretch. Human interaction has already changed due technology. Black Mirror explores this trajectory.
