Chad is welcome to ignore all questions, of course. But I have something to ask, Chad. I thought you might have questions, too. I thought this might be fun.
Chad, here is my problem tree, same tree as last year. I understand it probably get too much sun but this year, I have this problem in April, which is unheard of.
Here is the problem...
And the problem in context...
What the hell?
I should add, my grapes vine leaves emerged early this year... and froze. First time this has happened.
My crape myrtles also emerged... and froze. This was VERY surprising because they usually stay dormant nearly into June.
What happened here? Should I prune the hell out of this tree? Cut it into a ball shape? Like a poodle?
What does Chad say?
Okay, here's a weird question for Chad, one that my hillbilly band director from high school asked our class, but never answered:
What is the difference between naked and "nekkid"?
When is the last time you shook someone's hand?
Our foundation shrubs have been clipped on the tops and edges for decades. Underneath the green periphery, the plants are “nekkid.” The birds like it fine for nest building. I think they are taxis. That can’t be the correct spelling, they’d be charging a fee, though it would explain the occasional yellowing.
Do you have any advice for encouraging inner growth? For the plants, that is.

Did some research, took awhile.
Check out this link.
I hope it helps.
I would definitely trim it up.
I call it "skirting."
Myself, I would not trim it into a ball. Trim it to be more natural. Unless you want to be Disneyland!!!
Well, let me tell ya, NotMyCircus.
Since this is an astrology blog, my answer would be:
"The difference between the 5th house (nekkid) and the 8th house (naked).
But, that's not good enough, here.
I figured your band director was implying a musical rule.
So I googled "naked note."
This is what I got:
Thank you, NotMyCircus, for educating me!!
