We already know this...

I could go on and on... point is, we're definitely in a simulation. By dannyboi93

What does that even mean? What do a series of coincidences have to do with simulation?

@cocopeaches I thought everyone had at least heard this theory.  It's not really my thing so maybe someone else can come on and get into it.

But I've heard about this... since the internet, anyway. The terms change. We're living in some kind of matrix, basically.

I did not pay any attention for 20 years but the scripting is becoming more and more apparent.

I don't get how random coincidences and other oddities of human history indicate that we are living in simulation. To me, those occurrences seem aligned with the nature of reality.

@cocopeaches I agree. Nature displays patterns all over the place. I think some are able to live and think in a way that let’s those patterns express themselves into a manifestation. It’s not indicative of a simulation though- I can’t make that connection either.

Local talk radio runs 20+ year old Art Bell Coast to Coast broadcasts on weekends. On this week's show Art opened an "exclusive for illuminati members" call in phone line!  Assorted wacko calls including a sinister British voice claiming They control the world from the behind the scenes vaults under the Vatican, saying they "know everything," and "99% of people couldn't handle" what they know. Variations of this have made the rounds for years, even part of the Q thing, science fiction, Alice, and the Wizard of Oz.

A common human trait is a need to define, explain, and measure in tangible terms. Are humans even capable of comprehending the true nature of the universe?

All things are connected. I’ve heard it called the web of life, and I like that term. One can tap into that web, see the cycles, gain insight, predict the future by seeing previous patterns.

I don’t think this is a simulation and that there’s some reality that’s more “real”. It’s all consciousness but that doesn’t mean that it’s “fake”. If anything all the synchronicities show it’s legitimacy, not that it’s a simulation.

Quantum physics is really interesting in this regard. I don’t claim to fully understand it but it’s in line with what a lot of eastern traditions have pointed out. The idea of this all being an illusion is a very old one.

Edit:I think too that some people take the Matrix films too literally. It’s an allegory (I think lol)!

@libra-noir You might enjoy the recent episode of the Joe Rogan Experience with physicist and mathematician Brain Greene.... apparently the full episodes are no longer available on youtube but I was just listening on Spotify. That's actually a huge bummer because Spotify has been censoring some of his content - just erasing certain episodes. Anyway it's a really great episode with some fun quantum physics stuff that sheds light on this topic!
