I have had some pretty HARSH Pluto transits. I mean the kind of stuff that leveled me in every way. Death of family, lost every material thing I owned more than once, divorce and isolation, job loss, frightening health issues....you name it.

I think I have talked about it here but when I was being almost buried alive I don't think I had any energy to speak. I only actually knew 'after the fact' what was going on. Today I am well aware of what Pluto does. And, text book Pluto nightmares happened to me.

When I go back to the period of time when the worst and most insane things were happening ....Pluto was beating me down.

NOW...I will say this.... with the exception of death of family members (who were old and going to pass anyway) most of what happened to me probably needed to happen to force me to rise up and see/do things another way.

I think there is a lot of Pluto talk here at EE and there are also a LOT OF PLUTONIANS here.

The amount of Scorpio moons that write here is incredible. We have a ton of people with packed 8th houses and a whole lot of Scorpio suns.... I have 5 planets in the sign myself.

I have gained a lot of knowledge from these people and how freely they have shared over the years.

Pluto is a strong influence, but its long term. I would say Pluto influences are so life changing they affect your life for years. You can't go back with Pluto, especially if its in the cardinal houses.

I agree with soup that many Pluto transits are harsh.

If you have Pluto in a Cardinal house, the affect of a Pluto transit is very noticeable. When I had Pluto in Capricorn square my Libra Ascendant, I met a man that really changed my life. It was intense.  He was the most impressive man I ever met in my life and after he died I realized how much he changed my point of view.  It wasn't bad, but it was gut-wrenching because I loved him, platonically.

When I had Pluto in my first house I remade my life from top to bottom. It was just a wrecking ball.  I went from being married to not and lost all of my friends and family, that had expectations of grandchildren.  Geez, I was an evil witch to them, but I regained my freedom.  A very hard time for me.

I don't think Pluto is given enough attention. It isn't a personal planet, but has a lot to do with things that shape your life..

There was a time in my life that I would engage in friendships and intimate relationships with people who had SHOWN me they were dishonest, manipulative and controlling. But I believed if I could MAKE them treat me differently, that somehow proved I was special.

It never worked out that way. Furthermore, it made it clear how I invited the pain and how much of my own dishonesty, manipulative and controlling ways needed to be cleaned up from within myself.

Thank you, Universe, for all the tears that nourish the seeds of change. I am grateful. heart

Natally I have:

Pluto in the First House

Sun square Pluto (exact)

Scorpio Moon sextile Pluto

Pluto conjunct Ascendant

Venus sextile Pluto

Saturn trine Pluto

Neptune sextile Pluto

Pluto is also involved in a cradle aspect with my Venus in Cancer, Neptune in Scorpio and Mercury in Gemini.

Anyone had any "shit happen" from the recent transit Moon square transit Pluto?

I had the first display of anger from this lady I really like. Not sure I can attribute it to the transit but based on the timing it happened almost exactly at 0-1deg.

Also from the descriptions online it fits exactly what I did to her :S

"You might decide -- without even knowing this person -- that they're The One, and then you'll go about trying to secure that bond, regardless of whether they're feeling it or not! You're feeling especially needy on this day, and you might regress emotionally in order to get your needs met. Even if you're normally quite an aboveboard person, this transit could make you feel insecure and could push you to try to manipulate your potential sweetie into making a declaration of affection to you. You also might misinterpret things they say, and get jealous or possessive as a result, if, for example, they mention having gone on other dates recently. Why put them, and yourself, through that? Just take a day off to nurse your feelings, and get back into it in a day or two."

That Pluto conjunct ascendant aspect can be intense.

Don't get me wrong I like intense! I had a close friend who used to tell me all sorts of stuff with that aspect.

Out of those celebrities who have it they are hardly wallflowers!

Oh yeah, I actually did get a "thing" on this day. A "thing" that is potentially not solved yet and has hints of real darkness in it.

Also got some conflicting converse on Mars exact opposition Pluto a week or so earlier, but that melted away.

I'd say that people don't talk about Pluto for the same reason they don't walk around outside naked.  There's a limit to what they're willing to reveal about themselves to others.
