I wonder why people don't talk about this planet more.

Personally for me I have had certain shocking experiences, and when I have looked up astrology books for what various things mean I have found an exact description of those experiences in relation to my Pluto and its aspects.

I also find out that other people, anyone who has Sun in relation to Pluto on a hard aspect for instance, will be having the same sorts of experiences...

But no one talks about it... Surely if this is the planet causing, or relating somehow, to so much trouble people would want to understand it more? What does it want? What is it telling you etc.?

I have only seen a very few acknowledgement of Pluto's role recently, one person said that since Pluto was transiting something their health had deteriorated... Pretty serious stuff!

Agreed!!

Tough to put into words that which is profound.  Especially, when Pluto is playing the 4th harmonic.

I personally believe that Pluto lacks vocal cords.  Packing' a punch, though.

One-Hitter-Quitter, he...

Some of us do. 🙂 If you only look at it as negative it may be easy to miss...

I've been wanting to bring up a Pluto topic. I have noticed some Caps and Cancers that are doing horribly but also some that are really at some sort of peak in their lives (same with Libra and Aries- All the cardinals). So I see both extremes. I wonder what would cause this. I'm guessing how Pluto is aspected?

True! My sister seems to be doing great. She is a Cancer... Or is it that she "appears" to be doing great? Natal Pluto does not aspect her sun in her natal. Transiting Pluto is currently over her Chiron opposing her sun.

The bit that I'm "not sure" if she is actually legitimately doing well is because I'm not sure how her mother treats her. There may be some abuse.

I agree that Pluto seems to not have a voice!

All the Planets represent energies that are contained within us, the expressions of which can be read in a Natal chart. Planets are not conscious beings, reading a Natal chart shows how these energies might operate in a person. The planetary placement in the Houses shows the areas of life where this energy manifests according to each chart. The Signs and Aspects tell the story.

On a physical mundane level planetary energy is most certainly felt, the whole universe is alive with energy. On Earth, tides, weather, volcanic activity, night and day, life and things exist and die, etc.

Pluto represents that which is the complete de-structuring of one thing which is then transformed into another thing on a physical, mental and/or spiritual level. This death/regeneration analogy energy is expressed and experienced throughout our lives in various ways. A keyword for Pluto is Power...in all its many forms. The power to transform is it's energy.

I think we talk about Pluto a lot on the forums here. Maybe not so much recently but in the past so there's a lot archived to look at if you're interested. I do really like what wintermoon has to say about it.

Personally I have sun and mc conjunct Pluto in libra. I've done a lot of research on this aspect. It explains a lot about me and my life. At the moment transiting Pluto is also squaring that conjunction from the first house. Pluto is always teaching me about my personal power or lack therof.

I love Pluto! My chart has Pluto conjunct Scorpio ascendant, Pluto trine sun, Jupiter and Chiron all in my 8th house. So I'm always looking for more info on Pluto

Ok then, well clearly Pluto is too gutrenchingly personal for people to talk about it. Not meaning to be rude but Wintermoon's answer sounds as though it is straight out of a text book and someone's placement of Pluto in their chart is nothing to do with their actual experience of Pluto. No more than the mechanics of a car have anything to do with driving in it.

I have no desire to talk about my experiences with this planet either. I will say that they are highly unusual to the extent they reflect something that some people have prefer not to see and in a previous astrology forum the purely personal experience was deleted by the moderator although it did not attack or reference anyone else within the comment.

Perhaps any change with transiting Pluto will shed a light on this for us some time.

Peace.

I have posted extensively about my personal experience of both my 8th house and my Pluto transits, both to my moon and 12th house, among other things.

Here is the tag page

Or Pluto Transit 12th

No shortage of material, round here. No, ma'am (or sir).

Thankyou Elsa. I will definitely go through some of these on the Pluto tag. I have been tidying for the last few days for many hours and not slept so well so am too tired now.

I also saw David Icke had uploaded something new and think perhaps David is doing Pluto properly.

One small thing I notice when listening to David Icke, and something I think I noticed before is that Pluto retrograde often seems to meet darkness that is so severe they are thrown out of some sort of etheric mainstream because of it.

While Pluto direct seems to remain in the mainstream in some way even if they have the same viewpoints as the Pluto direct.

So Gandhi (Pluto retrograde) was more of an outsider than Nelson Mandela (Pluto direct) that had Pluto in the same house, the seventh.

There is a lot about Pluto on EE on particular, but I think a lot of people usually don't talk about Pluto because it's hard. People usually don't talk about their Plutonian experiences. They're in the depths so they tend to withdraw.

It's hard to talk about rape, trauma, abuse, job loss, illness, death, family complexes, etc. anything horrifying you've experienced in general. When you're still reeling from it, you don't feel like talking. If you do talk about it, it's usually to help or ask for help. The healing part of Pluto. Catharsis. There is a lot about Pluto written on the blog side and on this board.

And people usually don't want to talk about it because it's intensely private. They may also have to figure it out and process it because they don't know what happened. They don't know why it happened. They're confused about what happened. I often don't talk about my Plutonic experiences unless I'm asked. I have shared some of my Pluto experiences on EE, like the Pluto transit to my Neptune, and people here usually ask about Pluto when they are having a Pluto transit.

I usually don't tell people about my Pluto experience until months or years later. I don't tell you until I've processed it, and with some experiences, you can be so confused about it, you aren't able to understand it for several years. You have to figure it out what the story is before you can tell it, or else it's just a bunch of facts, fragments, and feelings mashed up. Plutonian experience can be hard to describe also because sometimes you're only talking about 2% of it for brevity's sake. If you talked about the whole thing, you could keep going because there is so much depth. There are several layers and several experiences tied to it.

There is also the shadow aspect of Pluto and projection of the shadow on people. People want to be associated with Pluto when it's cool to be, but when it's uncomfortable and uncool, they want to sanitize it. I.e. You talked about it on another forum and it got deleted. If someone is raped and says bad things about their abuser, some people will conclude the girl must be lying. You're out of a job and you get stigmatized by people for being a lazy freeloader, when you are anything but. If you're surrounded with like people like this and don't know what your story is, you can be sabotaged, so to be self-protective, you may keep it to yourself. If you know what your story is, you might be inclined to shut up when people try to discount your experience when you talk about it.

RE:  #10...

Lol, suppose I could take that as a compliment, that response was off the top of my head, but knowing there is a difference between someone being rude and someone being ignorant, nice to know that you weren't being rude.
