I know someone with Mars conjunct Mercury in Cancer in the 1st house they also have ASC in cancer. His Mars trine his Pluto in scropio in the 5th house. I don't know what to think of him really. He likes to talk about his family his mother and sister. I like the way he communicates but it's probably because I have Venus in Pisces I really love his voice. I have Mercury in Aries and Mars in Gemini. So sometimes there is a little conflict. But it's like he knows what to say to me to stop me from arguing. Sometimes I think he sweettalks me. It's like his water Mercury puts out my firey Mercury but in a nice way lol. He does seem passive aggressive though. The part about them liking curvy or full figured women is true.

Elsa's post is spot on! Describes my husband really well. and Yes! he prefers curvy women.

Re: the mom situation... I'm the TOTAL opposite of his mom. He wasn't raised with her the first 7 years of his life. He loves his mom i'm sure but interesting that he picked a woman to marry that is her complete opposite.

My oldest son has Mars in Cancer. He is raising his daughter as a single father alone, very devoted to it and good at it.

I had him for over 7 years before his brother came along. I never in my wildest dreams thought this would be his life. But, it is. And, he has taken it on. I don't think he is doing anything exceptional. Its his job to raise her. I am just surprised that....never having sisters... he is so good at it.

There is no momma's boy here. He has his own life. I am happy to help with his daughter if he needs it but he doesn't call me to help him with any other thing and its rare when we get time to just visit. He is busy. And, I respect that.

He is a good cook. I have no idea how, I didn't pass that skill. I tried to teach them both to cook for their selves and they couldn't have been less interested. Funny....now they both have to cook dinner every night.

Mom comparison...his ex wife and I were nothing alike...not in looks, mannerisms... although I really loved her when she was a kid and through the years.

I really think men with this placement would make wonderful fathers. It's just a feeling I get.
