I was trying to find some useful information online, but I crossed various beliefs. So, I have very vivid, strong dreams. But, I noticed that sometimes I fall asleep very deeply, which is not usual for me. In that state, I dream dreams that are lucid, and vivid, sometimes it's a nightmare and in a dream, it seems like I've been sleeping all night. But, suddenly I wake up or decide to wake up, and I don't even have to check anymore, it's exactly midnight or 1 am. So, I have been sleeping about an hour and a half, 2 maybe. It happened 10 days ago. I had this dream, almost a nightmare, the whole story was in it and I knew I was sleeping and dreaming but decided in a dream to make it last because I was actually interested in how the story will go on, but after some time, I felt tired of it all, it was exhausting and decided to wake up. It was a sudden awakening and I knew I wasn't actually sleeping the whole night as it seemed in that dream. I sat on the bed and thought it was about midnight, and when I checked it really was. Sometimes is 1 am.

My best friend once told me that we are under influence of various forces during the night, but every hour is different.

Do you have such experience or do you know anything about this kind of sleeping and dreaming?

I've had this experience at different times in my life. Just as you describe. I think it's related to a transit in my case. Because just when it becomes normal, it stops!

@elsa do you maybe remember what transit? I never even thought it could possibly be related to the transit.

@dori I don't remember, sorry.  But I would think about a Saturn/Neptune exchange (you're controlling a dream to some extent) of time type. I have a strong Saturn Neptune sig in my chart...

I knew someone who had a lot of Cancer planets and he told me he used to astral travel alot while sleeping. He also had a guide he would meet who would take him places and show him things, other paralell universes, etc. Around the time I knew him I had an experience which I believe was astral because it had elements in it that were completely different from dreaming. I think we project astrally alot at night but don't remember. It sounds like you are having some consciousness of this type of experience, whereby you have more awareness in the 'dream' and it has different feel to it. Perhaps having a lot of water in your chart and water houses emphasised helps. So maybe research astral experiences.

@sophiab it makes sense, lots of water could be an explanation for this experience. So, how was your experience? Smile Where did you go?

@dori I didn't go anywhere Dori, I 'woke up' in my own bedroom, exactly as if I was really waking up. But there was a figure standing near the foot of the bed. I was lifted from the bed and deposited on the floor at the side of the bed. This 'woke me up even more' to my surroundings. It seemed normal but completely abnormal at the same time. I was then placed back in the bed as before. The figure then hovered above me as if vertical, his face near mine, feet near the ceiling. He asked me if I knew who he was, I realised I did and I said his name. Then he gave me a message. Communication was all telepathic, through energy. I won't share the full details of who he was and what he said because its to do with one of my spirit guides and I feel it should remain private. But you can get the gist of the energy of the scene and the encounter I think. It really shook me up, and I'll never forget the encounter.

@sophiab I had an encounter in my dreams, with my grandad, and it was life-changing too, I will never forget it. I believe yours was even more. I'm happy for you that you had it. Smile
