I may be biased, because I really like Aries Moons, especially as politicians. Transparency, passion, and no bs. Bernie Sanders is an Aries moon. In Ocasio-Cortez, this might be further empasized by her Sun on her Asc. I saw her interviewed recently and I was impressed by her eloquence, and ability to articulate her ideas. Her mistakes concerning certain details don’t bother me, at this point. For someone so young, who shifted her life path so recently, I salute her. It’s one hell of a Saturn Return. She’s going to have to tap into some fixed energy, though, if she wants to continue her trajectory. She could easily gas out being so heavily cardinal.

I find her twelfth house Mars and Mercury curious, particularly as they square Jupiter. It would be a shame if she finds it easier to distort the truth in her favor, rather than utilize the desire for truth, transparency, and hard work shown by her sixth and ninth house aspects. Sixth house Aries moon could make an excellent public servant.

Pluto transits would be responsible for the breakdown/transformation of her previous life, and the pressure of her Saturn transit came at the right moment for her to make an incredibly consequential choice, which may have been difficult beforehand with all of her Libra.

Look at all those squares and oppositions! She has a Cardinal Grand Cross that she has learned how to use to get what she wants.

The Moon/Mercury opposition is a difficult balance for her to maintain when it comes to communicating. You can see it in her style. At times she is very Libra charismatic and other times you see the Aries warrior style.

She has Mars conjunct the Sun. Even though its in Libra, she has incredible stamina with that aspect. I’m sure she needs it to deal with her very dynamic life, but it also could make her a zealot.

I’m really drawn to the aspect lines in the center of the chart. Its an unusual pattern, IMO. Looks like a bow and arrow. Or a rocket launch.

I think she’s gonna ruffle a whole lot of feathers in DC.  She’s a threat to them because she’s young, but her ideas stink.  She wants to change the world but has no idea what it will cost.  You just pay for it.

I found her answer to what it would cost interesting. When asked, her (partial) response was (parphrase): No one ever asks how we will pay for the size and strength of our military.

That’s more of a deflection, to be sure–she doesn’t seem to have a concrete plan–but regarding her response, she’s not wrong. If she continues to dig, and hopefully she seeks guidance, and does the research, I think she could find some worthwhile answers.

JoFrance, so glad you spoke about her style! I don’t care for it! It’s a superficial point, but it seems like she’s trying to dress the part of a senior member.  I think she would be better off dressing more her age, with some better fitting outfits. She’s petite, and sometimes it looks like she’s drowning in her suits. I don’t fault her for it, as I’m sure she doesn’t have much of a budget for clothes at this point. But it’s noticeable! I think it might just my own Libra Rising that thinks she would be more comfortable and effective in some sleeker outfits, though again, that’s probably a bit of a silly, superficial, projection of mine, haha. But thanks for pointing out the related astrology! Her style was on my mind, but I couldn’t see it in her chart. I expected some stress on her Venus, or Rising. What you said about the opposition makes sense, in terms of the imbalance!

We aren’t sure that she is a Libra rising, are we? The chart says noon.

I’m not sure yet what I think, I don’t have enough information.

I was referring to her Mercury in Libra and Moon in Aries, not her Ascendant, when I spoke about her style. At times she seems very Libran when she communicates, but the Aries Moon emotion she exhibits is divisive.  She’s a conflicted person in many ways.

@JoFrance,

I understood your post, and appreciate what you wrote. It was my own mistake in my first post when I mentioned her Mars conjunct Asc. which, as Tam pointed it out, we can’t be sure of. Further then that, I was only discussing my own Libra Ascendant. I agree with your analysis of her Moon/Mercury aspect in regards to her style 🙂

Eta, much of my post could be inaccurate since I focused closely on her houses.

I have a Libra Ascendant too.   I agree she needs some fashion help.  Some of her clothes look like she borrowed them from someone else.  They’re too big for her and not flattering at all.

She is an example of the American Education system. It stopped teaching so many things, especially basic American principles, that I’m not surprised she whole-heartedly endorses non-democratic ideas.

Another thing about her that grates on me….. she appears not to use *logic*. Well, not any type that I recognize. If it relies on Uncle Sam to pay for it, she loves it. But let a company make a profit…. she breaks out the cross and holy water. Every idea she favors you can see happening *now* down in Venezuela.

But I gotta admit…. she doesn’t back down from proudly admitting she is a Socialist. I whole-heartedly encourage her to keep saying that publicly. It (hopefully) will show the average American that the Democrat Party of today isn’t your grandfather’s political party.

Her “logic” escapes me too, Glenn.   She has a lot of big ideas that are just not affordable or doable.  She has no real facts on how it will work aside from tax, tax, tax.  I hope someone in the Democrat party puts the brakes on her.  She needs to take a few steps back and start looking at the reality of things.

I expect that she will face a Democrat challenger to primary her in the next election, if she makes it that far.  She is not a team player, she wants to take over the party and is burning a lot of bridges in the process, mostly in the Democrat party.  Why not attack the Republicans?

Looking at her chart, she is a formidable force that is really a catalyst and she’s exposing the new Democrat party for the Socialists they are, unapologetically.  She’s proud of it.

Republican Bush Jr gave the largest socialist bailout ever to the auto and finance industries with taxpayers’ money via TARP and Quantitative Easing.  Too big to fail isn’t capitalism.

since i live in another country i dont really know, but i have been reading some news on her on yahoo news;  she is the first woman who has all the “conservative” men all interested in her (not that way) more like wow, some lady in her 20s ambitious, and productive. I also read she was a waitress before, about a year ago? then all of a sudden…   crazy. (edit- i dont have a strong cardinal chart, so if i were her, and waitressing, i’d still be waitressing cause i am not ambitous – and i prefer waitressing) lol.  Well i congratulate her, it seems she enjoys the spotlight and being out there in the world. maybe someone higher up will help her and support her. for her ideas, because she has the stamina and aggressive competitive personality 🙂
