Your thoughts?
Transit Uranus, in the 12th House;
…Sextile natal Jupiter (11th House)
…Square natal Mars & Part of Fortune (4th House)
…Trine natal Pluto (5th House)
…Opposition natal Neptune (6th House)
…Square natal Saturn during the second Saturn Return (10th House) at 58 years of age.
All aforementioned houses are natal except for Transiting Uranus in the 12th.
…and…
Transit Neptune, in the 11th House;
…Sextile natal Mercury (8th House)
…Square natal Venus (6th House)
All aforementioned houses are natal except for Transiting Neptune in the 11th.
Due to my birth location (Anchorage, AK), my houses are skewed. Born at 12:15pm, my 12th and 6th houses are huge and my 1st and 7th houses are small. This means that Uranus will spend 13+ years in the 12th house as apposed to the typical 7 years that most people experience.
Uranus and Neptune are very slow movers so some of these aspects are going to last a long time. some longer than others.
I would greatly appreciate your expertise on this matter.

Thank you!

Have you tried using Equal Houses?  Elsa posted a chart like this a couple of days ago as an example of why she prefers Equal.  Someone commented that perhaps folks whose charts have extremely large 12th/6th or 1st/7th houses actually have lives dominated by the energy of those houses.  But that would apply to everyone born in those latitudes, which seems unlikely.  Is it true for you?

Might be worth a comparison to see which applies most to you personally.

@warped

Thank you for your suggestion.  My Mom was an Astrologer and had suggested the same thing many years ago, so I understand your logic.  However, I was born almost exactly at noon in the middle of winter.  Due to the tilt of the Earth, time of year, time of day, and location, this places me directly on top of the world at birth...as far from the orbital plane as possible. My perspective of the solar system from this vantage point make the houses elliptical. This has always proven to be quite accurate for me.

If I had been born 6 to 12 hours later or earlier, the tilt and rotation of the Earth would have placed me closer to the orbital plane of the planets and my houses would be closer to normal.

The best most accurate chart I have ever had was done with the signs rotated 30° (sidereal) to account for the stellar drift of procession. Most people are still using an ephemeris that has not been adjusted for this over the centuries. The zodiac rotates 1° ever 72 years*, so by the time of the changing of the Age the ephemeris that has been copied over, one century to the next, is off by 30°.  Just look up at the night sky, as the ancients did, and you will see what I mean.

Anyway, this corrected (sidereal) chart places my Saturn, Sun and 10th House in Capricorn. This shows there is a lot of karma to be resolved and a lot of spiritual work that I need to complete. This has always proven accurate. Plus, having my Jupiter and Moon in Aquarius also makes more sense...for me.

Thanks again.

Shain

*72 years is about the length of one average lifetime. According to Sacred Geometry this is one day in the "Great Year". The "Great Year" is equal to a sojourn through all twelve ages of the zodiac.

72 x 360 = 25,920 = one processional cycle.

If we don't account for this, and verify our calculations with the night sky (as the ancients did), then our charts will be inaccurate.

@shain -  I know, you are absolutely correct, BUT... the old traditioinal astrology works for me, and I am an old fuddy-duddy, and am sticking to it!
