vocational crossroads — confused by my chart contradiction

I'm at a bit of a crossroads vocationally, and am curious if any of you may have a different perspective on my astrology...

I feel like there is a contradiction btw all my Aries/5th house placements & 6th house placements.

My North Node wants to pioneer and have an audience. My shiny Leo MC supports this notion too, but then its ruler, my Sun is in the 6th (behind the scenes, subordinate work).

How the heck do I make sense of this?

It shall come to no surprise that I grew up as a performer/artist. I feel most fulfilled when I'm being creative. In my younger years I definitely wound up in a lot of 6th house roles/odd paths to support my creative goals. But, I never could totally get out from under the service jobs.

Now over the years- I've changed a lot, pursued different passions etc & quite frankly with the digital age - loathe social media. My Sun has become more comfortable hiding behind that Pluto cloak. But, my Moon NN is still what it is... in the 5th...

I included both below because Placidus, my Jupiter is in the 5th where as Equal is 6th.

I'm sorry that no one has responded. I could not think of anything to say in response to what you wrote. I think you are saying you don't like your situation. You are the only one in the position to judge this?

I am not trying to rude in any way. I'm trying to explain why I have been quiet and it's possible this is similar to how others are parsing this.

@elsa I'm not sure I entirely understand but appreciate the feedback.

I am referring to the natal contradiction of my 5th house Moon NN and Leo MC wanting to shine/be seen but the Sun ruler of my MC being in the 6th along with my Mercury (and Jupiter depending on the house system) being behind the scenes. It seems most define 6th house as subservient, grind work which deems contradictory to me to Leo energy.

@belladonna I understand. I just see it differently. 6th house sun shines at work and in fact, comes vitally alive at work.

5th house loves fun and children.

You get the idea. It's not a help to you because you feel how you feel.

Again, I apologize. I just wanted to try to explain, at least myself, so you could not continue to be ignored.

I guess my message is this -> I don't think the lack of response is personal.

@belladonna Have you thought that it might be because you are a Taurus? Taurus 6th houser... It's very earthy combo. Are Taureans very showy? I think they're more like Librans being ruled by Venus, I mean they like to be amongst people on a level. Can also be reserved and contain a lot of energy. I'm sure there's a good way to channel your fire and creativity through this earthy placement, but you would be giving people something different, through integrity, power, light, containment and also fierce grace. There's a great need for that.

@sophiab you know what? That came to me THIS morning ha ha! so that might just confirm it. I thought to myself, maybe it's actually just my Taurus - especially because of how I've evolved personally.

I think I grapple with my old self, because I yearned & burrrrned with Aries ambition as an adolescent & younger adult to such an extreme level.

But, I'd say near the end of my 20's/SR time, I started to shift and change big time. I was so attached to that prior identity that I think the death/rebirth was confusing to me. How could I have wanted something SO badly for SO long, only to change SO much?

I mean, I did still take my Aries Moon Jupiter on a massive adventure to live abroad for several years haha, but was less concerned with the stage (literally + figuratively).

So, maybe I've just naturally become more my Sun.

The Taurus part of me also keeps me concerned with security and with Saturn in the 2nd, I try to stay aware if I am staying "comfortable" out of lack mentality... or maybe I do I just want to be more mellow now with more stability and that's okay.

I love that Smile definitely resembles the wiser, more grounded/assured lady I've become.

thanks for chiming in, very much appreciated.

@belladonna Glad what I wrote resonated!

Might be worth also reviewing your progressed chart too, to see what you're evolving into, where are the personal planets, angles currently.

I think the Uranus transit of Taurus can't help but put the focus on your Sun and changing into someone new, but with Uranus I think it's hard to get context while it's happening. It'll be clearer after the transit ends, because right now it's more just getting through all the rapid changes. For me it's a bit of a rollercoaster ride, very testing, and so much about letting go, and learning about faith and trust rather than controlling or holding tightly. 2022 is very intense for fixed signs, with the nodes and eclipses now joining in. Your questioning is all part of the transformation!

I also understand about the lack mentality aspect with Taurus/2nd house. I think one has to stay conscious always of it and work towards stretching into abundance daily. I have Uranus in 2nd. I am not consistent with sense of self value, but the Uranus transit is helping me expand.

@sophiab yeah My Sun & ASC progressed into Gemini/Sadge which was fitting for my foreign adventures over the last five years. I became fluent in another language while taking interest in many. 😀

p Moon Mercury Mars in Cancer - I did become an unrecognizable homebody!

p Venus in Taurus definitely describes how my values have evolved.

p MC in Virgo with Mercury in Cancer 7th is interesting...

I think the Uranus transit of Taurus can't help but put the focus on your Sun and changing into someone new, but with Uranus I think it's hard to get context while it's happening.

I definitely have transformed into someone new (as described above) when Uranus first started on my Sun at the beginning of that journey. but I think what you said about context still rings true as I make sense of my new version and where I go from here with who I've become.

right now it's more just getting through all the rapid changes.

indeed

Your questioning is all part of the transformation!

I like this thank you!
