Around here the Venus Pluto aspect is often touted as rising corpses of past relationships (of all sorts).  I forget about some of the unusual aspects sometimes.  As I got the weird trifecta perfected, of risen corpses, I had to reflect... it wasn't straightforward... these corpses didn't come straight at me.  I encountered them in peripheral ways where there was no direct interaction, but it was very fated and pointed!

Weirdness!  The quincunx!  secondary, off balance encounters! But... still exceptionally strong and powerfully affecting!

Have you had any shirttail encounters?  Serendipitous happenings?  This hits most of my personal planets.  You?

Having stumbled upon this topic, I looked up when t-Pluto quincunxed my natal Venus. It was a dynamic, very socially fruitful time in my life. Contrarywise, Pluto transit opposite my Venus was ordinary, everday, same as anytime (but, they aspect,  natally).

Haven't yet looked up the more frequent transit time, of Venus to Pluto, but because it's very late, and tomorrow will be busy for me, I'm posting to this topic, betting mentally that at least one other person will find it interesting enough to develop for further thinking about here.

I will be so old when that happens, that presumably they'd be celebrating my 90th birthday or so. (To a 50-year-old woman: 'Hello, little girl, have you considered dating old men? I mean really really really old men.' 'Do you have millions, you old fart?')

I can say the semi-sextile was real not good, and the square was just. Grr.

What other aspects did you have besides the pluto quincunx?

I have Venus quincunx Pluto natally. It's like meeting a great person in the least likely place / environment. I was in situations where people around me were generally "yuck", but still I stumbled upon someone who had my back and who I really adored in that yucky crowd, someone who had no business being there, working there, living there. It's like a surprise party and life saver in one.

Ah, I'm late, getting back to this topic!

Funny fact, max, I have only - simply, aka nothing more - compassion for younger men - i.e. what we feel towards children. Maturity, and experience, are valuable, hugely so. Ditto, men who also recognize such - who value understanding through living.

Few and far between as y'all may sometimes seem, you're a seriously present group. For which I'm very glad. *Please keep on saying it, proud & loud (yeah, I know, Scorpio... I do know - so, Scorpio version of that, i8s overdue, you know?)*

For factual purposes, I have a freakishly interconnected chart, e.g. a chain of five consecutive sextiles... implying trines and oppositions, obviously.

Jupiter features in that mix, but, is quincunx, dynamically.. (obviously, because quincunxes are dynamic by nature).

Today I suddenly awoke to the understanding that 9th house (several chart elements) = Jupiterian. Lol, Mercury Neptune opposition, natally (yes, the flaky r me - although I full well see *everyone else*s flaky tendencies -> houses 7 & 1). aquariussmilyt_gif

PS Please accept my deepest apologies, anyone befuddled by my attempts at neat, short postings - I am, too, when I reread some of them. At the time, I felt as though I was saying what reflected what I meant (Mercury aspecting Neptune, natally).

Gee, just realized I made a mistake. It's not a quincunx. I have Venus biquintile Pluto natally. My abstract thinking is off-target lately.  Anyway, biquintile makes more sense in this scenario.

@ neptunian placebo, I have Venus sextile Pluto natally. (Yup, sometimes there *is* a pony under a huge pile of manure.)  On a more serious note, that is a wonderful surprise, to discover someone who shares your values, in action.

@ max, so sorry for my distractedness, above. I've been wracking my brain (since I realized I didn't answer the.actual.question) trying to remember when that was, but especially what was happy-making in that time. (Pertinent question. Thank you.)

I just dug out the belated answer, to wit, what was Jupiter doing, when Pluto transited quincunx my natal Venus. It crossed through my 1st & 2nd houses (where it came to Jupiter return - Jupiter in second is rarely spectacular, btw, for most natives).

The last year of total liberty, before starting school (a fine adventure, also, just, more limitations) for my son. Very social, including travels to visit with extended family & some of them travelling to visit with us.

I thank my lucky stars, whenever corpses are absent, when they could have reappeared. So, maybe there was a backwards-effect going on during that transit for me - the people I was so happy to spend time with, then, are all gone from my life (one way or another), now - most of them.

But, I'm an 8th house Sun... most of the time, circumstances work that way (every relationship has an invisible expiration date, which we can't know when because invisiblity).

These days, I'm working on transmuting some of the still-current ones. It's an experiment in process.
