Venus in Scorpio when the rest of the chart says freedom & independence

If the rest of your chart is dominated by Jupiter, all fire, or Uranus... but you have Venus in Scorpio,

Do you still find yourself exemplifying Scorpionic traits when it comes to love?

withholding for power, power plays, love & pain, intensity, deep attraction/connection, and/or all the themes?

It seems this is more the case if Venus is in contact with Pluto, but what about if it isn't in aspect but is in Scorpio?... still the same or to a lesser degree for all you running for the door?

I wouldn’t run from Venus in Scorpio.

But yes, Venus in Scorpio will Venus in Scorpio in love, too, regardless of other placements. The ones I know without a Venus/Pluto aspect still display the characteristics of Venus in Scorpio. To what degree and in what manner will be shown by the whole chart, though.

The whole personality can’t be reduced to one placement, of course, so Venus will blend in with all that fire. You/this person won’t be as intense in relationship as, say, a triple Scorpio with Venus in Scorpio, but you won’t be as flighty or lighthearted as as someone with those other placements, but without Scorpio Venus.

@buendia thanks for the feedback <3

I didn't mean run away from Venus in Scorpio, I meant for those freedom lovers running for the door but that have Venus in Scorpio

I think it would be another side to the personality, might even surprise a significant other who wasn't expecting it. Honestly this type of person seems appealing to me - I have a 7th house Uranus and I like quirks like that! In fact, I might even be a little like that myself 🙃

For my part, having Aquarius, and Gemini with Scorpio Venus, it is like I am two people in one. One part of me can be flighty and just plain strange but the other part, is deep and can't stand superficiality. I guess I am a Jekyll/Hyde person.

@tonya interesting! thanks for sharing... that was along the lines of why I was asking... I have a Sadge bestie with Aqua ASC and Venus in Scorp but it's conjunct Pluto in the 8th, so of course that part of her is undeniable... but I briefly dated a guy with a Sun Sadge stellium, and Venus in Scorp but square Saturn, no Pluto contact... so it had me curious. While the connection was intense for me, I'm so Plutonian (tight conjunction to my ASC) that it's always the case for me, and usually for the other but not necessarily

I have a stellium in Aries that includes Jupiter which sextiles my Mars Saturn (Gemini/Sadge) ... so I mean, I know all about leaving, too   Cool but yeah with Pluto Rising in Scorp intensity still is my middle name
