All I know is that as things get more expensive, wealthy people have more money to spend. And this is accurate:

Oh, and we must not forget about property taxes. Mine went up 19% year over year. It may not sound like much but it was a 439.00$ increase. Thanks a lot. Displeased

My homeowners insurance just increased that much. It's still the lowest available.  I've heard of others who had $2k increases. Yuck.
