Yeah, exactly, Scorpio withdraws for self protection, it has nothing to do with testing others or playing a game. Please don't assume that they are playing a game. I agree with Elsa and pearl. If you really care you can say "I'm here when you want to get together or talk". Definitely give lots of space.

the only reason i see scorpios backing off are
1) they are over it
2) their pride is hurt (but really this doesn't stop them from communicating eventually)
