I've become really interested in "templates" over the last couple of years. I'm talking about music with the same beats. Or the idea that we are watching the a basketball game more than once...
Last night my husband and I were watching a fight scene on TV. I recognized the layout from this fight scene in Billy Jack:
The fight was one against many, all men. But the objects in the scene were the same. It was the same set up.
Then there are the lookalike actors. This is a good set of pictures, portraying doubles, but there are triples and quadruples, etc. These looks are appealing, you could say. Like the basketball game was memorable or the song or the (Billy Jack) fight scene was iconic. Not to say that it was not a copy of something filmed prior. In fact, it probably was.

I am not sure the astrology on this... I thought some of you might weigh in. But I do think this is becoming more and more obvious.
Is it Neptune in Pisces? Jupiter, revealing the truth of the illusion?
We have all the bathtub pictures of celebrities. Yes, I know what that's about, but it's mindboggling in a way.
Years ago my husband noted he was annoyed that all the cars looked the same. They had no personality to them. I wrote about this at the time. Looks like this:
And how about kid's clothes? At a certain price point, they are all copies. No variety at all. It's as if all children are interchangeable. Dinosaurs! All kids like dinosaurs, right? Do they have a choice?
What do you think of this stuff? Can you see other examples?
Watch HGTV for awhile and you’ll see it there, too.
EVERYONE wants an open-floor plan. EVERYONE wants a farmhouse sink. EVERYONE wants hardwood floors.
EVERYONE wants barn doors.
House after house is designed the same!
My Aquarius mother prefers houses that are unique-looking. This would drive her nuts. I currently live in a older gated neighborhood where the original houses look odd, but in a good way. Trailers were converted into one-of-a-kind homes. The newer homes are pretty, but look like they belong in a subdivision. And the newest ones….some of them are being built like mansions, and too close to the street. I thought the McMansion trend was dead?
Oh yeah, and some shows are ABSOLUTELY scripted. “Love It Or List It” is being roasted on Reddit because the template for that show is so in-your-face you can’t ignore it.
A couple of ideas on this: with actors or celebrities in general, their field of work is focused on fulfilling collective fantasies. As people, historically, have not been in a position to live out their true self and true desires, we have compensated for this with an illusion industry. Success in this industry is often based on a person having archetypal qualities. The commercialisation of our need for illusion means those archetypes are also products. If a product sells well you look for more of it to sell, hence repetition. What is collectively popular can change over time based on the zeitgeist, and also can be manipulated/driven by those invested commercially, but also some of the most powerful achetypes will remain. These collective archetypes are unconscious hence the quality of timelessness. The manipulation and influence by those with invested interests is based on an understanding and utilisation of psychology, psychoanalysis and the unconscious. Freud's nephew, Edward Bernays was instrumental in the early advertising industry and his legacy stands. The fact that this is becoming more transparent I believe, is inherently because as a species we are evolving so that we come more in contact with our true selves (both the good and bad!) This means our need for illusion will slowly wane as more of our repressed self becomes conscious - we gain clarity about who we are and what is actually possible in terms of desires and power to achieve this. I see this impacting Hollywood and media overtime as the need for fantasy and illusion dry up.. Illusion just doesn't have a magnetic or energetic effect if you aren't repressing lots of things, the things that can be capitalised on, ie. conflictual emotions. I have a strong Neptune and Pluto signature and I've always been aware of repetitions in actors (especially through history) and also feel/read collective themes in movies, TV, advertising. Neptune in Pisces shows us where we are all connected, where we are one and the same (ie., we can all catch viruses, in this we are equal), so I think this is involved and also with Pluto in Capricorn working to show us the details of how we construct reality, our sense of the world from our emotional underpinnings (Cancer). So, all being said, rebalancing of Neptune and Saturn signatures.
Gemini comes to mind when it comes to look-a-likes and everything looking the same.
