You mention his anger, moodiness.

Perhaps you should couple together healing, in regards to why he is truly angry, and potential. His anger may be blocking it. But it’s hard to give advice as family member. It may have to come from another person.

For instance, my mother abandoned my sister and I at age 4. Unbeknownst to me, I walked with extreme anger inside of me for over 2 decades, repressing it at times, other times not. A stillborn child resided within me.

My potential was blocked due to me approach to the world and myself. Once I discovered the source of my anger, I was then able to progress as a person, intrinsically and extrinsically.

Stuff like this is difficult. People are difficult, and interesting. You know him better than we, but that is what makes this difficult as well.

It would be best to setup an appointment with Elsa. Should could give some straight, deep insight.

You soon is having Pluto, Saturn, and Jupiter squaring his natal 1st house Aries Moon, and opposing his 5th house Cancer Venus (more so Pluto at this point). This is some respect is about personal, shadow, transformation and integration. Something must die for something else to be reborn. He has to learn to be clear about his needs and relationship needs too because stuff gone ignored will rise.

Chiron transit is conjunct his 1st house Mars. Could help him learn about how his reactions affect others.

Neptune is conjunct his ASC. Was is in his 12th house, now in his 1st house. Can lower ones defenses, open towards compassion trust, but can bring confusion or deception in relations.

It will take time to read etc., but pull the trigger and contact Elsa.

PTSD is hard, very hard, to deal with. My father, grandfather, uncle, and 2 best friends suffer/suffered greatly from it (we all joined the military). It can be alleviated, but not overnight.

Elsa is embedded within that community too. Her husband is also prior service.

With Moon in Aries aspecting Uranus, his emotions are easily triggered, and Mercury at 0° Cancer he might take everything very personally, he may even think he’s being personally attacked. Mars in Aries 1st house is aggressive, but with Mars in retrograde, that aggression is often turned inwards, on himself.

Because the Moon is heavily involved in this, I’m not sure you as the mother (Moon), would be the best person to help him.

So I agree with DarkAquarian …“hard to give advice as family member. It may have to come from another person”

redbird, so sorry to hear your son is suffering.

PTSD doesn’t discriminate, no matter one’s birth chart yet it’s helpful to see the transits that people have mentioned. I can’t see the chart now (when I click on it there is a message that says it’s expired) yet if his moon is getting all those heavy transits I agree that another person (other than you, his mum) might be best able to help him right now.

Anyone suffering tends to show their pain and anger to safe and available others so if he’s suffering with a chronic difficulty making sense of and expressing anger then it’s just a matter of time that your son’s environment (spouse, community, family…) will ask him to get some help.

EMDR therapy delivered by a well trained clinician can be of great help with PTSD and symptoms like tremors and flashbacks and intense feelings and body sensations. In particular work with a clinician who can deal with trauma (the PTSD) and who also has sound knowledge of child development can offer a long-term treatment to support him.

I mention Child Development knowledge because with his Moon in Aries is getting the heavy transits now some early emotional functioning is due to be revisited…like early emotional expressions and experiences of anger and possibly being around anger…there could be some early blocks around asserting oneself or others’ responses when he asserted himself as a kid or external pressures for him to achieve things or blocks around managing and expressing anger – a natural human emotion – in effective ways.

Moon conjunct Mars in his chart (I’m reading other posters’ comments to find his astrology) could point to early innate needs and regular concerns around anger or asserting himself, and possibly those themes in the home?

DarkAquarian mentioned possible healing together…yes, I can see that. I can also see it would work with him getting individual help and you getting individual help for yourself at the same time as his Moon (mother significator in astrology) is getting the heavy transits in this case.

If I saw the chart I could think of ways that you or his family might be able to reach out to him.

A consult with Elsa is recommended too!

Best of luck, redbird, you must be in a lot of pain and under a lot of stress as a mum. Self-care lots!
