Just a note in case you have something coming up and you want to pick a good time. If you just want the astrological conclusion, skip to the last paragraph.
A while back I found out I have thyroid nodules - usually benign and no big deal, but first they have to biopsy them to be sure there is no cancer. I knew this was coming but the scheduler hadn’t called, so I was scanning times to see what might be transiting or rising. Venus conjunct Jupiter on the ascendant? Sounds good to me! They called, offered me the perfect time and I took it.
The biopsies are done pretty quickly so I felt like that conjunction would cover it. However, delay delay delay. I have been nervous due to the big needles they use, but I was doing deep breathing and felt pretty calm. The procedure was longer than expected but not actually bad at all. I kept my eyes shut so I didn’t have to see the needle.
When it was over they said you can lay here and chill for a few, then you are free to go. After a minute or so I got up, felt terrible and boom, out cold. I woke up to about 8 people trying to get me on a gurney to the ER…
Apparently the biopsy doctor stimulated the vagus nerve as he was working. I am totally fine now, but it was a couple of hours of crazy.
The astrology: yes Venus and Jupiter were still conjunct, but they had moved into the 12th house. Ha! And in the meantime Uranus had moved to conjunct the Ascendent and Pluto was on the MC. So the moral of the story is, make sure you consider delays and where the planets might move!
Wow, he astrology is perfect. Thanks for the lesson and heads up
Wow. That sounds scary as well. Your attitude is amazing.
Here's another thing I noted: Venus conjunct Jupiter was a perfect description of what happened to me. Too much (Jupiter) relaxation (Venus). I read about the Vagus nerve and when you stimulate it, everything relaxes - in an extreme situation you fall down like a puppet whose strings were cut. Made me think of Spock's nerve pinch! Apparently yogi types do certain movements to stimulate that nerve and help them relax. But not to the point of collapse!
And one last Jupiter Venus thing: that night we were scheduled to have dinner with friends. I felt great, we went and had a great time! But of course, I drank 2 glasses of wine! I never drink any more so this would qualify as a Jupiter amount of Venus. Astrology in action.
Final note:
biopsy results BENIGN
yay!
