On February 17th, Saturn is set to make the first crossover of my Ascendant @ 26 Sagittarius. At the same time, I will experience an exact trine to my Leo Saturn in the 9th house.

After a couple of months, Saturn will retrograde back into my 12th house until next fall. (Boo! I'm tired of the 12th house.)

I'm a bit nervous about this. Not sure what to do, what to expect. Last time Saturn crossed over, I became a Christian, but our family also moved to another part of the country, and thus began three years of being bullied in school. I'm at a different place in life now. My beliefs are different, I'm not in school anymore, and I'm not a child anymore. At the time, Uranus was dancing over my Ascendant as well, so I dressed and acted weird. My peers thought I was kookoo bananas!!

Anyone have insight into how to prepare for this? All I've done differently lately is wear lots more gray. I just prefer it now for some reason, it's soothing. smilecapricornsmily_gif

Not the greatest. I have a molar with a hole plugged in with over-the-counter dental cement. Without it, I'd be screwed. I just got back on dental insurance (lost mine last summer when I lost my job). But I haven't checked to see if major work would be covered yet--I hear dental coverage usually makes you wait 12 months for that. I'm looking at a root canal or a pulled tooth soon--can't afford the first option, can barely stomach the second.

As for my other teeth? I have periodontal disease that's probably gotten worse due to lapse in insurance + eating/brushing habits.

About a week or two ago I found myself taking a serious look at Weight Watchers' website. I've never even considered joining them before. In the past I always used Richard Simmons' plan, but he's gone into seclusion. I figured maybe that's my signal to move on.

Had Saturn's last pass on my ASC over a year approximately. First pass was 2 yrs ago. Still in process of redefining. Some things bug me like I cant seem to come out of, could also be the upcoming full moon. Now I can see how Ive been dealt the cards I have to learn to play with. I have natal Saturn sqr 6th house Moon. I'm expects to get along with all no matter my circumstances or how tired (or lazy as the opinion) I feel.

My hands are tied still in some ways. But also feels like this is a time to be still and feel the good in simplest form of live. I'm not simple for sure. I've got clutter around me both emotional and physical. I depend on others. And am asked that after being helped "who has been able to help you?" So if I consider one or both parents as Saturn (authority) or other relationships with anyone older than me as I'm in this situation, then I still have to work on cleaning my act of keeping others happy. No blaming allowed and follow the aries leaders, my parents again in this case and or fellow fire sagg, husband who prefers to make decision independently.

Saturn in the 12th house has been taking people from me. My roommate died in a violent car crash with her boyfriend on New Year's Eve.

It is still taking people from me. I've kind of felt like Gandalf the Grey when he walks away from the Balrog, only to be grabbed by the ankle by the Balrog's tail and pulled into the abyss, when he thought he'd finally gotten past him.

Today I received word that one of my former residents is dying. They're just keeping her comfortable now. She has asked for me every single day. (I worked there for 16 years, about as long as she lived there.) But I was fired last summer, and once an employee leaves the company--for ANY reason--management immediately changes the codes on every entrance to the building. Every time. I was also escorted out of the building by my boss without saying a word to anyone. So I seriously doubt they will let me in to see her, even though she really wants me to come visit her. I am persona non grata to management.

I hear you, Saturn. Slam the door. Don't come back. Look forward and get walking--there is nothing back there for you to see... 🙁

Another question for y'all: Can Saturn affect knees, too?

My knees are getting more and more painful. Not hugely painful--but bad enough that I'm looking at getting knee sleeves to stop them from wobbling around. (I suspect it's my shoes, but also nearly 40 years of heavy wear-and-tear + 20 years of obesity.)

Ditto yes on the knees. I use the term "crappy Cappy knees."  Capricorn rules knees, bones, and teeth. Think structure of the body.

I did a quick check on my Saturn transits. Note I am a Capricorn with Taurus rising. Both passes through my first house were periods of growth. Possibly major dental work, too, although I can't exactly place whether these were 12th or 1st house. Dental work does sneak in like a12th house event.  My first knee blowup happened in my 2nd house. Back to the growth, finished high school and started college on first transit. Second transit was trip abroad and change in job tasks.

Let's hope you experience the positive side of Saturn in building your structures.

Took photos of my "crappy Cappy knees" today. (I'm a Libra, but the sun is in the 10th house.)  Yikes! I had no idea they had gotten this bad. No matter they always hurt now.

Thank you for this post! My ascendant is at 28 degrees Sag, so I've been wondering these same things. I feel and look like a completely different person from a few months back. I've slimmed down a lot as well. I've always been a little plump but this time the pounds have melted off (although I am making a serious effort to change my eating habits!) I have Uranus and Neptune in the 1st house, and have always looked youthful, and preferred bright and colorful... but my look has matured. It does feel as if I'm about to enter a new stage in my life.

First you will get a reality check. You will learn to respect the lessons of Saturn. He may even give you an insight into your job? or the current situation you are in. You may want to exercise and get into shape. Good Luck.
