Sagittarius Appreciation ♐️ - lighthearted

One of my sons is a Sagittarius with a Cancer moon. We describe him by saying, "He's such a sweetheart but such a dick." Sorry for the language, but there really isn't a better way to describe him and we do it with love.

So today he was doing something he shouldn't be (as usual haha) and I told him to stop. I had to say it with some force because he doesn't like to listen. He must be free. So he got a little upset and said to me, "Stop yelling at me, Mom!" I wasn't yelling at all, but said to him I could yell if he really wanted to hear it. And then the Sag kicked in. He laughed and said, "Yeah Mom, yell, I wanna hear you yell!" Half joking and half hoping I would because then he could laugh more. He'd stopped the previous misbehaving so this was all fun at this point. Needless to say I didn't yell and we were both laughing over it. This to me is the gift of living with a Sagittarius and I love it 😄 PS He has Aries rising like I do; how can I not enjoy him?

Please share some Sag love!

I had a recent manager who was a Sagittarius and I thought he was fantastic. He let me do my own thing but also gave a lot of praise and was very supportive. Some of the best compliments I've ever received have been from Sagittarians.

@space-cadet and when they give compliments you know they're being truthful, because, like my son, they'll also tell you the truth when they're not feeling so complimentary. Sag compliments are treasures.

I have a Sag sun Taurus moon grand. And an Aries sun rising grand. OMG.. they are so funny and so much fun. They are on fire all day. On the go. And you put them together and all I do is laugh. I could be in the worst mood or even mourning and in no time, I am falling out laughing at them. I have this weakness for Sag anyway. Like moth to flame. The story never ended well in marriage (looking back, how could it?) but dating? Most fun I have ever had in my life. Of course, I married them LOL My Sag gd is an entertainer. I mean she will sing, dance and perform all day. And funny ...

I raised air signs. I never got a word in sideways. The dinner table was me serving food then getting all the 411 on everyone in town. It's true. They were just kids and knew everyone's business. 🤣 So being with these fire signs is a breath of fresh air. Their switch is permanently turned on and it brings me to life. I just adore them. A Sag is the life in any party. My son describes her and says... nothing keeps her down.

@soup that sounds so nice! I'm the same with Sag, watching my son is a laugh a minute. We have some sensitive water signs in this house so he's the one I can count on to take a joke. He's constantly getting reactions from his siblings and he thinks it's hilarious so we had to teach him to know his audience lol.

I'm so with you on them being a breath of fresh air. They keep things light

@dolce I say it all the time here... those damn Sagittarius. Haha When I was younger if there was a Sag in the room, he was making a b-line for me and me him. I adore them. That is the problem 🤣

@elsa whaaaaat! That story took a turn I wasn't expecting 😂 What on earth was he thinking?? He didn't understand why you didn't want this truth 🤦‍♀️ Oh Sag... I'm laughing and horrified at the same time.

My nephew is a Sagittarius. He’s 40 and yes, he laughs at fart jokes and will make fun of someone’s dopey expression. But I have also known him to be kind and polite. And then back to laughing at people tripping. 😅

@allie120 hahaha sounds like I have at least 32 more years to enjoy these same antics from my son then, but I suspect it's more 😂

I often forget my husband has Sagg rising. But it’s trine his sun, sextile his Libra moon, so TMI in public definitely grosses him out. He has the outward energy and openness to people that comes through.

@allie120 my husband is also a Sag rising 😊 Same demeanor as yours, and very extroverted. My dad also, and he has the humor, but is a mega-introverted Taurus. Both of them have the "I know I'm right" attitude as well haha. I guess when you combine Sag with Virgo/Leo moon and Taurus/Virgo moon... 😝

@dolce lol the “I know I’m right” thing is totally real. He’s the guy who says, “You’re not dealing with the average person here. I have a PhD in polymer science” when he thinks someone is trying to blow smoke up his behind in any of the areas in which he really is knowledgeable. At least he does admit he doesn’t know some things. But there are times I am proud of him and there are times I want to 🫥.
