So this past lunar eclipse on Feb 10th, 2017 was exactly conjunct my 8th house Leo Sun. I have struggled to get a job for the past year. I've applied to literally hundreds of positions, yet rarely even get a reply. In mid-Nov I was placed by a temp agency at his engineering firm. While I was there, I slowly came to learn that about 6 or so other women had been hired to fill my exact job at this company in the past year alone.

My boss was beyond strange and I knew it wouldn't last, no matter how well I did. But things did seem to be going well. Before our 11 day holiday vacation this past Xmas, my boss gave me a Xmas gift. I also gave her one and thanked her for being such a kind boss to me. It really seemed to be going well. We spoke about things I would work on in the new year, etc. Then the day before New Years, the placement agency called to tell me I had been fired.

The house I've lived in for 10+ years was also taken back by the bank in Dec and my roommate and I are due to be kicked out any day now. I had money saved to move, but when I lost my job I've had to use that same money to live and now I have about $12 bucks to my name.

Creditors call Day and night, cable and Internet are off, electric is due to be shut off any day and I'll have to spend my remaining money on gas to drive to the funeral of my best friend of 25 years mother (she passed away the night before the ellipse, suddenly - the eclipse was exactly conjunct my best friends moon).

Anyway, when I was let go, the placement agency said they'd still like to work with me, and I would hear from them with any openings. ...I didn't hear from them until Feb 10th - the day of the eclipse. For a position with a company I had interviewed with before but not been selected for. Though they gave good feedback about my interview and said it was simply that someone more qualified had come along and they would happily invite me in again for future openings.

So, I was submitted for this open position last Friday, the day of the eclipse. ...I've not heard a word since. Clearly, I was not chosen to come in to interview, despite them saying they would invite me in again for open positions. Its disappointing to say the least. I really thought something more would come of this eclipse (obviously I'm pretty desperate,  putting all my hopes into the results of a lunar eclipse to my sun). I also have Pluto in my first house directly opposite my 7th house Cancer Mars until Nov 18th...2018. Along with Saturn in my 12th house now squaring my 8th house Virgo Venus until November 2017.

I cant move back home. I just can't. My mother is a hoarder. I just don't know what to do anymore. And from all the dire warnings about the last week in feb I keep reading about, I have the distinct feeling that I'm going to receive written notice to vacate my home next week. ...the same kind of feeling I had when I knew that job wasn't going to work out this past November.

Sooooo...what happened to you?

I feel your pain, I've been through many years of unemployment and underemployment myself.  I implore you to please, PLEASE see a bankruptcy attorney, as soon as possible.  This could save you from losing your home, and will get your creditors off your back due to the fact you are not in a position to pay them back and don't know when you will be. I went through this in 2011, it was horrible at the time but looking back it was the BEST decision.  If you don't file they will file against you anyways, that is what happened to me, involuntary bankruptcy.  Ignoring them will only make things MUCH worse.  If they get judgments against you you may well never get straightened out again, at least not for many years.  Usually the consultation is free.  You need to do what is best FOR YOU.

Also, get a steady job even if it IS low paying.  Working with the temp agencies is a dead end.  You can easily go months between jobs, if not years, with no benefits.

Sorry to hear that! It obvious wasn't a good Eclipse for many people. My Daughter has Mars conjunct Ascendant on those degrees, and she vomited 5 times just around the Eclipse, which she really hasn't done since she was a baby, and she is 3 years and 4 months now. She was terrified the first time it happened, but I talked her through it and the last times, she knew to use bucket.

But what about The New Moon? Will it happen in your 2nd or 3rd House (equal house)? Second house would be especially good for your resources, 3rd house is communications, so, this would be a great time to send open applications to new companies, or even new ones to ones you've already approached, maybe with a different angle, because there's that Neptune conjunct Sun and Moon. People will be seen in a complete new light.

It's not my home. It belongs to my roommate who already did file for bankruptcy which went through in October. The house was sold 2 months later back to the bank. Any creditors calling me are just harassing me because I didn't make payments this month on my credit cards. I have very little credit card debt, so I don't need to file bankruptcy.

Hey thanks for the suggestion. I didn't think of that with regards to the new moon being in my second house, which might be good for resources, like you said. So hopefully that will be something. Odd too about your daughter puking on the eclipse. I literally haven't thrown up in years and vomited all over the floor that day too. No idea why. Not even sick.

I also apply to new companies daily. I just never hear back from any. This is a problem I have never had before. Though I know it's an issue for many people. They call it the "resume black hole". My best friend has a graduate degree in a science field and couldn't get a single call back about a lab assistant. For more than a year she applied daily to places and never got a single interview. The job she has now she got because a friend of a friend recommended her to HR. My sister had the same issue. She worked for 12 years at a major corporation. Got laid off and couldn't get any replies either. Not until she got a recruiter to work on her behalf lining up roles did she get any interviews. She finally got the job she has now out of pure luck when another corporation got in touch with her because they had worked with her on a project at her last job and had an opening they wanted to consider her for.

Like, I know the unemployment rate is improving throughout the country, but this same situation happening to more and more people - people who are thousands of dollars in debt due to financial loans to get degrees - who can't even get a single phone interview?? I mean it seems so criminal or something.

My poor teacher's assistant has been having stomach problems too, starting on the Eclipse. She had to go to the hospital twice. In Cambodia you don't need a degree to be a doctor. You just say "I'm a doctor!" and open a clinic. Doctors orders are to "eat nothing by porridge for a month and maybe it will get better." First though, they told her it was kidney stones, and they did an ultrasound and everything. Then they next day when she had to go back because the pain was so bad, they told her that no, there were no kidney stones. Just eat porridge. How can you live off just porridge for a month?? She tried to eat rice one day and it sent her into pain spasms. Speaking of being criminal, doctors here charge a LOT of money, and then they're useless. Anyone who can afford it goes to Thailand or Singapore when they need a doctor.

Speaking of horrifying. We had another lice outbreak at school this week (it happens like once a month) and I found out that it's common practice among poor Cambodians to just spray kids' heads with raid when they get lice.

Anywho! My own personal eclipse was very nice. It trined my Sag planets, from my 4th. I got the final recommendation I need for my (current) grad school application and it was really nice and heart-warming to talk to my old boss <3 She is the kindest person on the planet.

I'm sorry you're having so much trouble StarF! That's a really shitty situation. Do you apply to minimum wage jobs too? This is a terrible time for retail, but when spring comes they'll start hiring more. And seasonal summer jobs have started hiring, and most of those start in May. And sometimes seasonal jobs provide housing. Do you like writing? I've heard good things about blogmutt.com. You need internet for it, but if there is a library in your town you could probably go there. Also, if you have a library, a lot of libraries have workshops on resumes and job hunting and networking. Networking sucks, but all your examples show how important it is.

I'm sorry for your struggles I have been out of work twice as an adult and it is stressful and frustrating. I didn't have any luck at all applying online or sending out resumes. My local unemployment office is where I got my current job, my previous job I found in the newspaper. I have also heard that networking on LinkedIn helped people get a job. If you are on there maybe connect with people you have worked with in the past to see if they know of anything. Good luck!

The Moon rules the stomach. Your Mars is ruled by your Moon, transiting ♑ Pluto as the focal of a traveling T, opposes your ♋ Mars. Get your stomach checked by a doctor, problems can create ulcers.

Sorry you are struggling StarF

Like others mentioned, I would also be to trying to find something (a job) where there is more demand right now, anything, even if it is a step down from your qualifications, to help you pay the bills while you keep looking for a better job and until you find one.

I dont think eclipse is ever a good time to look for something new. I got a job during the eclipse and it turned out to be a bad experience and I quit it a few months in. I could tell in the 2nd week I hated that place. I did some research after and I found eclipse is never a good time to start something new. It's more of a time to let go and release. An eclipse can definitely bring new things into your life, but it seems they dont last, in my experience.

So I agree about timing it more with New Moons, and also check for times of positive transits to your chart, like good transits to your 2nd or 10th house, Jupiter, Vertex, Venus, ruler of those etc.

The Leo eclipse was pretty uneventful for me, but I dont have much Leo/Aqua in my chart. I do worry about this upcoming one in Virgo though.

Anyway, Good luck!
