... Pluto in Libra (detriment?)

Pluto is in detriment in Taurus; a planet's sign of detriment is always opposite the sign(s) it rules.  From what I can tell via a quick google search, it seems that Pluto is considered exalted in Virgo, and in fall in Pisces.  (I was under the impression that this was still being debated when I looked a few years ago, so take with a grain of salt.)

Well that seems to make more sense. I was really struggling with the idea of Pluto in Libra & when I looked it up Pluto was not listed on the chart of dignities. : p

Thanks for the link! kiss I don't think I can put off studying dignities any longer.

Lol! Awright, awright....I won't skip ahead like I usually do. wink

I admit I got the "mutual reception" definition completely wrong up to now! I used to think it was generally about two planets aspecting each other. Now I realize I actually have one mutual reception in my own Birth Chart, namely Virgo Venus / Libra Mercury.

Isn't it great to find new stuff out about your chart. smile Especially excited in finding out about getting some relief for debilitated placements by their helping each other out.

If either of the planets in mutual reception is particularly important i.e. Chart ruler, conjunct an angle or aspects lots of other placements I think it would alter it a bit. How much of a change is something I'm not sure about.

Does anyone know how strong of an influence mutual receptions have?

That's discussed in the skyscript link I gave you, Roshambo. Smile  It goes through Lilly's table of dignities and how to score 'em to find out if they're debilitated or not.

Lol Lilly's table of dignities sounds like something that you could find in a curio shop or something. smile
