Pros & Cons of having Mars in Virgo.

When I think of Mars in Virgo, I see a person who's very neat and precise at what they do, especially when it comes to fine-motor skills. Therefore, I think Mars in Virgo natives make EXCELLENT surgeons as a cautious hand is needed when cutting/dissecting your patients organs. As a matter of fact, any small mistake can result in adverse conditions, and worse of all, death.

My sister and I both have Mars in Virgo and guess what? We're the masters of PRECISION! A good example would be when I was in Elementary school, I would always be the last one in class to finish my "handwriting homework", since I'm really taking my time "perfecting" my handwriting until it looks neat and perfect like a teacher's writing. If it doesn't look perfect, I'll erase it and do it again and again until it's perfect. No exceptions!

When I'm finally done, I would show my teacher my handwriting and her eyes would widen up in disbelief. She was so shocked at how neat my writing was for a freaking 5-year-old. Soon after kids in class would surround me and comment on how my handwriting looks exactly like a teacher's writing. Me, being the Leo Sun I am, is feeling proud of myself since I have the BEST handwriting in the class.

My sister so happens to be a Leo Sun and Virgo Mars as well. Granted, her handwriting is even neater than mine since she's a girl. Her nail polishing skills are also precisely neat. The way she moves her hand is akin to that of a robot, as is the same with me.

The verdict: Mars in Virgo is the prodigy of craftsmanship. Need someone to work for you? Go hire someone with Mars in Virgo. Ta-da, you get both quality and quantity results!

Quality work = A happy, satisfied customer!

Unfortunately, my Leo Sun is the one who's boasting while my Virgo Mars is shaking its head in embarrassment.

shan, that's so very beautiful!

About Virgo mars, coincidentally, we spent 2nd Christmas day/dinner last night with Gemini stepmother who has a virgo mars, and the few relatives were really upset about her judgemental attitude about how she sees "society" and how they "should" be. One of the younger males still lived with his parents, and she told them that living with their parents over 25 years old is not good. And he was upset, because he liked living there even if he was going to live there past 40, then it's his right. She went on about how there was this middle aged man who was in his late 50s, where his mother died in the house (he was taking care of her) and how he should have left long ago. I said to her, well i'm sure the mother wanted him there and vice versa and he took good care of her. She agreed that yes, i'm sure that she appreciated it, but now he's out of a home because they never made arrangements to get a contract made so that he would stay if in the case that she should pass away. Then she went on to comment on how her brother in law's daughter who is close to 30 should not live with the parents because now she's lazy and doesn't work. But i asked, does the mother and father like her there? And she said yes they love it if she stayed forever. *sigh*  So i thought, well, then why does it matter what other people do? IF they love it, and it's their arrangement, then shouldnt people butt out of it??

I guess in her defense, she just wants the world/society to be this way. Although i dont think that there's any harm, just that some of the relatives took offense of her strong judgement.

With the same coincidence, my Capricorn mother in law has a virgo mars as well, but both of these ladies have different suns/venus and moons. I do only notice that her way in the past was that a woman should be independent, and not dependent on her husband. Then weirdly the universe has it's strange coincidences, because her two sister in laws ended up being housewives and dependent on their husbands. Her own sister is a farmer and also dependent on husband but they work a joint effort in the farm, because farm work is very very heavy. So she has respect for that. Over the years, her mind has opened more and more as she was already kind of more opened minded about things, and people/cultures. She even felt that Gemini step mother in law was too narrow minded. *sigh*  But the irony of life....how if a person doesn't like something that is this way, ends up with those who will show her/him the way that it isn't Always the way it should be according to their own law in their head or what society should be. Basically, mind your own if they are happy in their lives with their arrangement.

ETA: having very personal contact with two strong older women, makes me see, that i hope to god i am not judgemental too much. 🙁  how we see "society" and how they should be. Both are very good women, and i honestly don't know if the virgo mars is the culprit of judgmentalness. My mother can be that way in the past, over the years she has changed (my mother doesn't have virgo mars but has taurus rising/cap moon) Maybe it's just an earthy thing.  Over the years though, if people who they love show them the way that it's not Always the case, they change and open their eyes. Or at least tolerate that that is how life is. their family and loved ones often show them that that is not Always the way of life.

I have Virgo in Mars, too and sometimes find the small detail work to be soothing. I wouldn't describe myself as neat and orderly about everything. My studio is not orderly. But I am good at finding things. Random things people are looking for that I remember seeing briefly somewhere (not sure that this is a Virgo Mars thing).

I can embroider. I weave, spin (fiber into yarn), knit, needle-felt. I used to paint and draw a lot. This is small, detail work for Virgo (I also have a fifth house sun). When I was a little kid in school, I was anal about my penmanship. Thank God I grew out of that.

Here's how my first house Mars in Virgo acts: if it's in my way, if I fear it will delay/interrupt my routine or desires, I will get VERY impatient, fussy, and action-oriented (I do keep my lip zipped though so that's good). I am working on learning to just chill the f**k out because things are never as bad as they will seem and I end up being humbled.

My father has got Mars in Virgo. He is an inventor and an artist.  He is sharp and smart. He is electronics genius. Yes, you are right. He has got beautiful handwriting and has got skilled hands.

He expects perfection from others and can be really nagging about it. He hates lazy guys.

wow that sounds like double virgo father in law, but he has Scorpio mars. Although the double virgo part, is so similar in that he expects perfection.

Last night too, father in law likes and admires his libra sun (born Oct 18-19?) brother, who is a professor and travels and has lived /acquired dual citizenship in SouthAmerica and he's a natural citizen of EU of course. However, he looks up to him, alot!! Then we discussed how his brother is very very laid back (i dont know his brother's year so i didnt do the chart of all his brothers) and we all said that he could NEVER be like his brother because it's like night and day. The laid back, lack of stress compared to the super duper stressed out, nervousness of his strongly mercurial energy. (ETA: the libra sun brother is happily with his third wife, a cancer sun, -- dont know her chart but they all said she is sooo moody and up and down with bi-polar.)

Gemini step mother even told us that she is way more calm than her double virgo husband. That she can sit still and sew an entire dress. (of course perhaps take breaks) and he has commented to her over her shoulder, how can you do that??? stay in one place for so long and do that. Aw.  that's why it's difficult for him, he'll Always be so nervous energy, and has even said to her that she doesn't talk enough or is too quiet. I thought to myself...what??!! huh?  I didnt want to be rude either and tell her, goodness gracious!! gemini step mother in law NOT talk enough? lol 😀 Ohhh dear. anyway, thought too  that poor father in law, with his nervous energy. It's good he married gemini step mother with virgo mars. She keeps him on his toes.

ETA2: to be honest, i love family gatherings!! family is a huge theme with me beng a 4th houser, whether it's my husband's side, or my side of the family. Or even extended family too. lol

I must be the only Virgo Mars with imperfect penmanship. 🙁 I swoon so hard over nice handwriting though.

My Virgo Mars is conjunct my Sun but squares Saturn and Uranus in Sagittarius. Those 2 cramp my style a little. I am very good at multi-tasking and getting things done in a  time-efficient way, but Virgo Mars will not half-ass anything they do! If I am making a meal, I am measuring precisely to follow the recipe. If I am writing a letter, I spell check compulsively and edit and re-edit. If I am cleaning, I will move all the furniture around and make sure I am getting to every corner and dust bunny. It's that perfectionist streak to Virgo that can't be denied.

I can be a little uptight about things getting done the way I want to, but Libra Mercury helps me have some tact about it (I think..). I can also be *very* hard on myself when I fall short of my expectations, which can be pretty high, so I have learned to curb that a little for my own sanity, and because otherwise I can feel like it's too much and I don't even get myself started!

Elisa - I wonder where your Gemini step mother's Mercury sign is in?

Shan - Gorgeous painting!
