I just found out about the progressed moon cycle! It's a 29 year cycle in the progressed chart. It really fits. I'm currently in the balsamic phase--the career ending in a few years and looking forward to the New Moon phase in two years

Looking at the cycle through my life I can track the biggest changes in my work life to progressed new moon beginning and culminations.
moved to the house where I made my first best friend who changed my life and enlarged my dreams and hopes--very impt for a venus capricorn type
started college: very impt. because I quit high school very early and was primarily self educated until college.
quit my first very secure well paying job to start my own business
took the business as far as I could and faced reality that NAFTA agreement would soon move the rest of my customers to look offshore for my service. Half way through 7 years started to go back to school and prepare for a new career.

I've been observing my progressed moon cycle since the progressed full moon about a little more than 8 years ago.
Currently I'm in the last quarter phase so I'm winding down a little bit and decluttering some ambitions and ideals, looking closely to what my life is like at the moment.
Looking at www.astro.com I read an article where it equated this phase with 'a return to our essential self.' That's happening in some areas of my life.
