The United States’ natal Pluto occupies 27°32’ Capricorn. We will experience our exact degree-based return three times in 2022: February 20th, July 11th, and December 28th.

What do you expect from this?

I've been reading about the parallels with The Wall Street Putsch from the US's half Pluto return in the mid 1930's. Prescott Bush was involved. It's interesting.

I've been concerned of recent with transiting Neptune t-squaring the U.S. Mars-Neptune square. Not the most realistic mindset to be working with in a Pluto return. July could be significant with the nodes of Saturn on the Sun then. Saturn will be on the U.S. Moon trine U.S. Mars as well. Interesting that the U.S. Part of Fortune at 26 Cancer opposes U.S. Pluto. Jupiter in Aries will square the return degree in May 2023.

*bump*

We’re about a month away from this.

Rumor has it Canada and other countries are bracing themselves for the U.S. to collapse—and for a possible surge of Americans to rush the Canadian border, brandishing guns and demanding to be let in. (Some would stay home and fight to the death, by choice or by circumstance.)

I can’t find much of anything on this, even on Reddit. Not sure how much credence to give to this scenario. ?

My brother has been fear mongering a bit about this, for the fall of 2022 (November). I want to move back to California where I'm from and he thinks it's a bad idea. I just don't think we should be living our lives from a place of fear. I've been severely compromised and terrified almost my entire adult life. Yeah, it could get worse. That's why I took a part time job, am stocking up on "nomad stuff" and tricking out my vehicle. That's what seniors do when there is no other option.

Another thing is my father is 100 and I want to be around until he passes. Then I'll move back to AZ or northern NM where I lived for a couple years. I love arid heat, mountains and desert.

During their Pluto returns, France's Napoleon died, Russia's Stalin died, and Spain's Franco restored the monarchy and gave up power.

I guess we can expect a change in face that we see as the "power".

I am concerned about the US, having a Civil War. It sounds ridiculous on one hand, but we seem to be going thru unprecedented times. It’s already quite disturbing on so many levels.

@turtle Me too. I’ve read that if we were actually on the verge of one, multiple countries would swoop in and intervene to ensure it does not happen (if we fall, they do as well, so they have a vested interest in our survival).

I hope so. United we stand, divided we fall.

I think we are already in a civil war, being fought sometimes on the ground, and mostly online.

There won't be a civil war because the weapons the government would use to combat it would be so devastating the war would be over in a matter of days. The government won't let that happen. Corporations need consumers and if most of them are compromised, everything will collapse.
