I love black, as I have a lot of Scorpio in my chart, but I like to mix it up with red, silver, blue, white or purple. I have worn total black at times, but not very often. I love it as a color, as it is never bland if you wear a whole outfit of it. As a Capricorn Ascendant, I used to wear jeans a lot at school, but I find it boring nowadays, and I do have an urge to mix things up. I only wear total white in the summer, as it makes an interesting contrast with my tanning, and I mostly wear white shorts, saving the white pants for special occasions.

I used to wear a lot of black until a few years ago when I realized how much better I felt when I wore lighter colors.

I've had the same experience. I rarely wear black now, even though the color flatters me.

I've found it's good policy to dress for your Venus.

@elsa That's true. As a Venus in Leo, it seems that the flashier the clothes, the better!

Your post reminds me of the yellow trousers you spoke of when first you met your husband. Then you ordered a similar pair to greet him at the airport so many years later. This makes me think of your Venus in Leo.

I have Venus in Aquarius. How should I dress for that? I prefer darker colors as opposed to brighter ones.

@purplestargirl I see Aquarius as having their own unique style. My mother was a double Aquarius and way ahead of trends. When whatever she was wearing got adopted, she would discard it.

I also dress oddly. I was thinking about this yesterday, there was a fad... 25 years ago? Maybe 30?  People wore vintage clothing. Bowling shirts and such.

I like vintage coats. When I lived in Colorado, I had a lot of them. Coats are easy to come by there. In whatever case, the fad is long gone but I still like vintage coats!

coat

That is my daughter in one of my coats. You can see the color is from another era.  No one has your clothes!

Being raised by Aquarians, we were all given unique (at the time) names. I am very into living as an individual.

In whatever case, yesterday I recalled being at a meeting at church - liturgy committee. I wore a light coat I own and someone remarked on it.

"Oh, well it's almost 80 years old," I said.

The priest's jaw dropped. He was in his late 60's. You can imagine what he was thinking.  The coat is pristine, by the way. As it's it 80 year old gorgeous button that fastens at the neck.

Anyway, it dawned on my yesterday, how odd I am. I don't think I can fix this because it's in my blood.

So Aquarius should be wearing things other people aren't... can't, even.  People should know when you walk in the door, you've some eccentricity about you.  Not like a comic book person. It should be natural.

My preferred fashion is punk mixed with a bit of vintage/bohemian. My jewelry is certainly eccentric because I adore earrings that are eclectic. I have a pair of chili pepper ones, atoms, Celtic knots, red cherries, sun/moon, etc.

I certainly do wear a lot of black. It's been my go to for decades. I've Scorpio Rising, and Pluto is my charts ruler. Aries Saturn in the 5th. I tend towards a minimalistic style when in comes to clothing, etc. I also really love Navy blue. I have an extreme distaste for busy prints, tie dye, paisley and the like. Thanks for the OP.

I have been known to purposely wear black on Saturdays in honor of Saturn! I like to try to dress according to the planet ruling each day of the week, even if it's just by changing the color of my scrunchie. 😛

I do have a pretty great anecdote about visiting my mom on a Saturday:

*Showing up to my mom's house in all black with a skeleton-print hoodie.*

Mom: Why are you dressed like that?

Me: Saturn remediation.

Mom: What?

Me: Black and bones. Saturn stuff.

Mom: WHAT

That woman has the patience of a saint. XD

My entire wardrobe was black until recently. Scorpio asc.  Black absorbs, white reflects. I started color coding according to the days of the week. Not sure if it just my perception, I am not nearly as drained mentally as I used to be. For the first time in im not sure how long i bought a bathing suit that is not black.  Hopefully i can hang around the beach longer than 30 mins and get some vitamin d

Some of this is regional.  When I lived in Colorado, especially in the winter, you're either wearing black or ski clothing!  But in the south, no one wears black - you barely see it at funerals!

When I first showed up here, I showed up in black and looked like a total ghoul! I changed my wardrobe fast. But I had already been given a hint from my husband's aunt, who I met two days after my mother died. I was wearing black, of course...

She's a psychic type, sort of her own way. But she told me that wearing black would prolong my grieving process and I do think she was right about that.

Black is practical... looks good on most and it's slimming.  But if you've been wearing it forever, you might try something new and see how it impacts you. Saturn is in Aquarius after all. Smile
