Doing a zoom book class.
Has anyone read this book? Thoughts? Again, I wish I knew astrology. There are So many wise women – that I wished I received feedback from-  which are in pain –  if I understood astrology – I could help? This

is part of therapy that Miss Elsea & Sherry encouraged me to process back in 2018: when I was reaching out about suicidal thoughts. It’s in my profile. In constant prayers for Elsea & this club. Rbird

I’ve heard of this book! From a very good friend who is a yoga teacher and integrative therapist who practices Reiki at a cancer center. I have not read it myself… but the premise really resonates with me. I totally believe that the body holds a memory for trauma, apart from the memories that are created in our brains. I have personal experience with this phenomenon but I can’t go into it now.

I’m sorry to hear about your battle with depression and suicidal thoughts. I too have faced those kinds of negative thoughts and I wish I had more to offer in terms of dealing with them. I wish you all the best on your healing journey, and good luck with your zoom book class. I am very interested in what you garner from this book, so I hope you can report back here with some more insight!

For the Astrology: The body = 1st house/Aries

Other signs might relate to specific parts of the body, but the first house is the house of “self” and rules the physical body as a whole.

Another good one is by Belleruth Naparstack, about trauma and PTSD, etc. I worked w/ kids w/ trauma yrs back and others on and off. This book was good. She puts a lot of research, as I remember, into different integrative treatments, which was great.
