Not sure if this can be seen in a chart, but if it can I might expect to see Virgo or sixth house. Possibly Aquarius, if they view it as a humanitarian cause, or Capricorn if they are pursuing an ascetic path (discipline ruled by Saturn).

we know a few vegans/vegetarians in our family, and they are water suns, and water moons. lol One water sun, is a Scorpio who has Leo mars, Libra in chart. and Virgo.the others are Pisces, with Cancer placements. They may likely be 11th housers, 10th housers because of their popularity and out in the “open” world. like open houses.
my husband and i are not vegetarians. lol we like to have our meat, but i notice he is MORE adventurous than me in food. Like he will order crocodile meat in a restaurant and eat snake if they prepare it well, and even Ostrich meals if the restauruant offers cause he knows they will prepare it well. I wont even try it. I am not adventurous in food and i will stick to my usual if they have it. I like to stay “safe”.. and i hate it when people try to force me. They seem to always like to force me to eat and try stuff and i thhink cause i give off too nice vibes like pushover. lol

yeah i dont really think there’s a formula in astrology; they can be humanitarian and love animals, but they still love to eat meat. for example i’ll eat all types of fish/seafood, but i’m not really interested in pork. I won’t eat that and strange other meats like snake, crocodile, ostrich, or snails (escargot) or anything too out of ordinary lol. just i get the creeps LOL i think if a child starts out vegetarian and the parents are really good at helpin the children eat well and with balanced nutrition, that can be a lifetime of discipline 😀

Depends on what reason/s they are vegan or vegetarian . I think Neptunians would definitely choose it primarily because they hate to think of the animals suffering. Virgo might do it because its “cleaner” eating. Aqua, because its humane.
I have been a vegetarian already twice in my lifetime. I stuck to it for about a year and a half at the longest. I did it for the neptunian reasons mentioned.

The one Vegan I know is a Cancer Sun, her reasons are based in her love of animals.
My cousin has been a vegetarian for decades now, she is an Aquarius Sun. She does yoga and always said meat feels heavy to her.
Personally, I love meat, and I have a Virgo stellium in the 11th. I also love fruit and veggies and have interest in health food, but I don’t see myself ever becoming a vegan or vegetarian.

My college age niece is vegan, as are many of her peers. For the whole gamut of reasons already mentioned, plus the negative impact on the planet of growing meat as opposed to plants.
No discernible (to me) astro markers. She is Aries sun, Libra moon.

My aunt’s a vegetarian and all I know regarding her natal chart since I don’t know when she was born is that she’s an Aries Sun. However she does have an Aquarius North Node so I wonder if that has to do with it.

I have an Aquarius North Node myself but I’m not vegetarian or vegan even though I’ve eaten that type of food. I do however try to eat organic foods. And I try to stick with that kind of stuff for my toiletries as well.
