I am trying hard to study astrology

I know I have a Saturn return coming. I tend to worry and fret. And keep pain tucked down low. So, could someone tell me about my S return )) .... as it would apply to me with possibly other transits? I know we are all having hard times. Is there anything supportive on my chart ? Thanks so much -

Redbird 😊

Well, I really don't mean to scare you but I remember my first Saturn return and it was a doozie.   Saturn teaches hard lessons -  but necessary lessons that help you to grow.

Maybe you aren't like me.  Maybe you have been dealing with your demons & stuff all along.  In that case, don't worry.  Saturn will go easy on you.

But if there is something you need to process and have been refusing to deal with it, then Saturn can come along and put this issue front and center in a way that forces you to confront it.

In my case, it was an early marriage that wasn't working and yet i refused to leave my husband because I was not ready to stand on my own two feet. I was finally forced to separate and painful as it was, in retrospect, it set me free on a path that made me the person I am today.

Some people who have a good placement of Saturn in their charts and handle the energy well also will have an easier time of it, I think.

I looked at your chart and see that this is actually your second Saturn return.  The first one would have occurred around the time you were 29.

Try to remember that period.  What were your problems at that time?  The second Saturn return can be a kind of repeat of those issues if some of them are still bothering you.

But the good news is that the second Saturn return can be much milder because hopefully you've been doing your work all along.

So - do I have a good placement of Saturn? Can anyone tell me about exactly when Saturn will be on top of me? And how long does Saturn stay? Thank you -, Redbird 😊

You said you wanted to learn astrology and there is no other better teacher than Saturn. Also, you will learn the most from your own natal chart as you grow (through progressions or solar arcs) and meet with new events, experiences (transits).

" Can anyone tell me about exactly when Saturn will be on top of me? And how long does Saturn stay?"

You can answer this yourself, check Emphemeris tables on Astro.com. Look for the dates in 2021 when t.Saturn reaches the same degree as your n.Saturn.

"do I have a good placement of Saturn?"

I don't believe there are "good" or "bad" planet placements in a chart, because energy is neutral. Difficult placements can be worked with if you understand what is going on with the planet relative to the ENTIRE chart. We are complex and evolving creatures, and sometimes we need gigawatts of energy to get us going especially when we get stuck or are fixed as is often the case with fixed planets like Taurus, Leo, Scorpio and Aquarius.

What you really need is a 101 astrology lesson on your chart. Using that, it will become easier for you to learn through your Saturn return.
