Hey,
I gave birth to a first child at the height of the corona virus.

Because everyone was in closure, I had no help.
I have been dealing alone for the first time in my life with both baby care and my difficult recovery.
Now that I was a little recovered, I wanted to go back and try breastfeeding again.
Trying to pump and there is no milk.

So I made a question chart,
Will I be able to supply breast milk to my baby?
Or release that cuse its a spend time for nothing…

Thank you so much

I think that would be a question for a  medical professional not an astrologer. I have an opinion on it but its been over 30 years since I had a child and things might have changed.

Hi pluto,

Congrats for your baby and you (and your family.)

The pandemic and lockdowns have really had an impact on the usual rituals around becoming a mother with regards to home visits, support groups for mums-to-be, nurses appointments, support groups of new mothers, hypnobirthing classes, etc.. And then the lockdowns reduced significantly the possibility of friends and family popping by, at one point after births, to help/cook/nurture the new mothers…

Such a hard situation for such a completely unfamiliar situation (having your first baby and figuring out all that.)

I don’t do horary charts. Skycript website covers Horary Astrology and if I remember well it has a forum there where you could ask the question.

I agree with Opalina 100%. Medical professional help is best. You mention no milk – there has to be some support available even through Zoom or Facetime or something like that (I’m hoping) and I don’t know where you live yet many countries and US counties are opening up their services.

I’d try again with your local services.

Congratulations!

Moon in Libra (nourishment) is exact degree quincunx Neptune (confusion, hidden etc). So yes it’s possible, but there are irritations, hurdles or complications to be overcome (Venus square Mars). These issues can be minor provided you get help (Moon in 6th house of service), likely from a healthcare provider.

Please note, that this is not a reflection on you as a mother, it happens to many women. You might also want to seek group therapy, an online forum or meetup where you can talk with other new mothers about this issue and other things – it will help with the emotional build up (Moon-Neptune quincunx)

I’m sorry I cannot tell you what you want to hear.

When our emotions are blocked it can be hard for nourishment to flow freely. In addition to your consultant’s advice, you might need to work at releasing whatever is interfering with your energy; look for something limiting you believe about yourself or something you feel you lack – let it go.

pluto, I would recommend seeing a lactation consultant or physician or midwife for the physiological information. There are physical laws at play of course. I’m not sure what country you are in or what kind of care you have access to? I know it varies wildly around the world.

I will give you my personal feeling though that has nothing to do with astrology, but as a mother who nursed her son for fourteen months. There is no harm to offering the breast, in my opinion as a supplement. It can help with bonding and still may release oxytocin. The benefits are not just nutritional. I honestly don’t know about the actual milk coming back after three months. Again that’s for an expert to help you with. But I do know many women have taken an herb called fenugreek to encourage milk supply. Of course that’s something to ask your chosen medical professional before taking.
