Oh my God, it’s been outrageous. The flub-ups began almost immediately.  Just stupid, stupid stuff, mostly on my part.  But I also have a classic phone tag thing going with a man named, “Sterling”, in Texas.  I have lost count of the number of calls… about eight and counting, if you count calls in both directions.

This started on Friday… seven days and I can’t get this guy on the phone to give me a number I need (for my taxes).

Tyler could not help. Sterling is Tyler’s boss, lol. There is no problem with either man, we just can connect, in large part because I am on the phone, consulting, when the phone rings.

I was also going to find a new doctor… made a bunch of calls. But then my doctor called me to fix the problem.

“Hey! We have a good relationship? What’s going on?”

::shakes head::

I decided to keep him as a doctor. This issue (icing on the cake) was caused by a message never delivered.

What’s happening with you?

Well, it has been multiple calls today with doctor’s offices. I am going to be charged $25 because I missed an appointment. I called Friday the 22nd and changed the appointment to March 26 but they put me down for February 25 and 26. Stupid. I don’t want to go anyway because it’s a specialist that is just going to cost me a lot of money for nothing (no chicks for free :))

I had just paid off 3 bills and was so proud of myself now there will be more medical bills. You can’t win.

Tam, I’m in a similar boat. My PCP is sending me back to my GI doctor due to colitis that the hospital thought was a one-time occurrence, and I’m going to a vascular doctor because my leg veins are starting to fall apart and turning my legs into a mess.

Oh did I forget to mention I have toothaches now and will likely need another root canal? I’m working up the nerve to face the dentist after being gone a year.

So now my anesthesia bill is paid off just in time to take on more debt!! I don’t think I’ll ever climb out of this mess and pull it together. 😫

Today I got my blood test results and it looks like my anemia’s gone (yay!) But my cholesterol numbers are a mixed bag. Total cholesterol and the bad cholesterol are borderline high. So I guess back to healthy eating I go.

I’m so sorry. Maybe get you some compression socks for your legs. My mom’s sister had colitis but it went away after a few years.

My colitis is not acting up at the moment, thank God. It seems to flare up under severe stress, so I try to avoid that or find ways to calm it down.

As for the compression hose, yes the PCP says I’ll need to wear those. Thigh-highs more than likely. I’ll wait to see the vascular doctor because the wrong fit is worse than not wearing hose. I’ve also found some pretty ones on Amazon so I’ll keep that in mind. Don’t want to go out in public looking like Thelma Harper from “Mama’s Family”!

Two more things:

The car’s making an intermittent pop noise when I roll over a dip in the road or put the brakes on hard. I just had a bad transmission mount replaced and don’t want to go back to the shop!

Also, I was called into the branch manager’s office at work. She said it wasn’t a bad thing….but then she talks to me about my documentation. Long story short, it’s a bit problematic. Home care and assisted living (my previous work) are two different animals. What I learned in AL will have to be unlearned now. It was another reminder to me that the past is just GONE.

So far it seem to be the season of rebooting. I had to reboot my iPad. It had the black screen of death. I also had to reboot my fitbit. It was also a black screen that wouldn’t turn on. A mapping program on my husband’s PC went wild while he was out of town. It filled the working memory. I saw a bunch of windows with the message there wasn’t enough memory to run the program.  He fixed it now that he’s home.

My husband is 4 hours away half of the time to help take care of his elderly mother. This week, his sister, one brother, and one sister-in-law have the flu. They all took flu shots, too.

haha it lost my comment

I’ll type it again since I have Mars in Taurus.

Anything Google/Alphabet related isn’t working correctly here. Chrome is horrible and won’t hardly load any page at all on any day. Android phone doesn’t want to use the Wi-Fi, tries to use data which is a joke at my house. YouTube doesn’t want to work on Roku, Google search is epically slow on all browsers. Gmail doesn’t want to update on the iPad.

Wi-Fi is working great, Roku is working great, Microsoft edge is working great.

I got my data. It was the cost basis for a penny stock I bought in 2005!! It was written off this year as it’s value is ZERO. I get a tax write-off, 13 years later – OKAY!

I was going to *not* visit with the mother of a boy my husband plays guitar with (teaches)… but now I am.

Did I mention that I fired and then un-fired my doctor. LOLLOL

My sister got her Stars and Stripes Award from American Heritage Girls today. The ceremony went very well, though I did notice several people were stumbling over their words a bit at the podium. I just thought “Mercury retrograde” and let it ride. Mom has been working overtime to get the ceremony off without a hitch and forgot to tell us my sister had a piano recital this evening as well, until the last minute. Me and my siblings were too tired, so most of us decided to wait for it to come out on video, LOL

I also had a bunch of details to keep up with, workwise, this morning, and I STILL messed up on one despite great attempts to keep track of everything.

Woke up this morning and stepped on a wet rug when I walked up to the kitchen sink. Uh oh. 💦  So I sent a message to maintenance and they had to tighten up something that got loose under there. Thankfully it wasn’t much water, but it’s no fun having to clear out a whole cabinet and dry it before you’ve even had your morning coffee. ☕️

How apropos! Mercury Retrograde in Pisces, 4th house. Water repairs at home. You can’t make this stuff up. 😂

I figured out that most of the Chrome problem was a wallpaper that I had got from them.

This Merc is in my 7H opposite Mars. I am so highly irritated at everything: stupid, delusional people, nonstop talking, snoring, the time change, telemarketers 👺, social media, entitled famous people….

🤬🤐🤐🤐🤐🤐🤐🤐🤐🤐🤐🤐🤐

The fuel pump failed in husband Big Sadge’s truck. He was half way on the 4 hour drive to care for his mother. He stopped for a bite to eat. The truck wouldn’t restart. He walked to the NAPA auto parts store, got a reference for a local mechanic with a tow truck. His brother drove the 2 hours to retrieve him. They returned the next day to pick up the truck. Pisces is a water sign, but maybe it could be expanded to liquids such as fuel.

My 85 year old neighbor’s landline phone is out. She doesn’t have or want a cell phone. We had wind gusts in the upper 50 mph range on Thursday. Her phone wasn’t fixed at the end of the next business day.  Her daughter may have her reconsider a cell phone when she comes to visit next month.
