Supply chain is falling apart even for producers of longterm emergency food storage. You better believe alarm bells are going off in the heads of preppers everywhere. Put 1+1+2 together and figure it out. Just look at this.

Tonight I took my housemate out to Walmart with me. There was a whole section empty—I guess Ninja is one the companies having supply issues. No metal canning lids and no jars available either except for pint-sized. Thankfully that’s what I’m needing. I want to make old timer’s cough syrup and the jars can store other things as well.

Well, I can see what’ll happen next. Everything will shut down (more) and there will be a huge propaganda push that demonizes (further) the unva~~inated blaming them for it all, deflecting blame and attempting to further division. It’s not gonna work though (just my guess.)

In my area my neighbors drafted a notarized letter and petition to PG&E (the energy monopoly here) in response to our extensive power outages. We’ve had four power outages in five weeks, each lasting at least 12 hours and one lasting 24. Out here many well pumps are electrical so no power equals no water for many of us. My neighbors who had the letter drafted have a landfill/compost company and the compost will catch on fire if not constantly fanned (so I’m told) and we live in a very dry part of California and this is fire season. It’s more than an inconvenience.
