Mercury Retro Stories...Anyone?
Well I just got back from a niece's graduation. It went along pretty well, though half of the people in our party were late and all the people around us were talking through out the the speeches and the two babies in our party were crying and one of them lost a shoe. We had a lunch reservation after pictures that most of us made it to except for my sister in law (mother of the graduate and party organizer) who lost her car in the parking garage. We had all taken separate cars to the resteraunt so she called her boyfriend who was coming later to come get her and bring her to eat.
The food was not great and another party with about 12 eight year old boys came in and partied loudly right next to us. Oh boy! lol We waited way to long for not great food and my sister in law had to go back to the garage and find her car. She thought she was in the south lot but was in the north lot. Oh well. My niece was beautiful and happy and we are just so proud that she has surmounted some troubles she had a while back and now has her masters in social work
oh and my top was on inside out and didn't realize it until I got home. Sag Moon/Ascendant strikes again!
Jarring to even read, especially for Libra with all the bad manners!
Yes, we were suprised how casual everyone was at the graduation. My husband had to get up and walk around because he was aggravated and what can you do when everyone around you in a large civic center appears to be talking? I guess if it's not your kid talking on the mike--who cares? The resteraunt was another example of casual overwhelm. It was not a burger joint. It was a good place and they brought what looked like a high spirited baseball team. By the end they were running into the mens room en masse and banging on all the doors.
i don't know. We are fortunate that we have family and events to attend and I'm grateful. I don't think the younger people in our party blinked. This is how things are, I guess?
Our washing machine had a problem. The cold water line flow decreased to a mere trickle. My husband decided it had to be the solenoid that controlled the water flow had gone bad. Then he thought it may be the hoses. I commented the machine said the hoses should be changed every 5 years. So, he cleaned the hose. It worked for a few cycles. He then replaced the hoses and the filter. The old rubber type hoses were installed with the washing machine, maybe 28 years ago. — Maybe the washing machine is having a Saturn return!
Another thing, my daughter broke a tooth last Thursday, the day after the Mercury retrograde started. She saw the oral surgeon today. Removal will be next week. It’s a molar that had already had a lot of work.
My phone has stopped showing missed calls, no sign of them in call log even when a message was left. When I find a new message in voicemail and hit the option for date and time, the time given is three hours earlier. My phone suddenly thinks it's in California, though I bought it new from the provider three years ago and haven't traveled at all since then.
