wow... nobody told me pluto in 12th could be the reason why am experiencing life the way I do till about a couple of months ago... i wonder if the knowledge would have made a difference...

May 1, 2023: Pluto retrograde @ 0 degrees Aquarius
October 11, 2023: Pluto direct @ 27 degrees Capricorn
May 2, 2024: Pluto retrograde @ 2 degrees Aquarius
October 12, 2024: Pluto direct @ 29 degrees Capricorn

As per this it doesn't really leave until 2024.. is the shadow period strong enough to start celebrating?

I was 20 years old in 2008 when Pluto entered my 12th... i remember having a relatively easy life till 2006 and it became very intense (not in the good ways) for no apparent reason... the only reason am still standing on my two feet is because (I do not from where) I found the strength to endure the constant grinding and complete isolation.

Would you say this is one of the toughest transits anyone could have? if not.. what is worse? (planet and house/sign transits) Of could my saturn return was intense too since it falls in my 12th house as well..

@vdn I believe that outer planet transits to the water houses are some of the harder 'house' transits to have, because an outer planet works at the unconscious level and the energy of the water houses also operates at a more unconscious level, so it's like a double whammy of very deeply affecting change which is hard to understand at a conscious level and its the confusion that causes us the most pain. However, these are also probably the most transformative house transits. I'm still in my Pluto through 4th house transit which started around 2009/10. I wasn't even studying astrology at that point, it was still dormant inside me, but it all quickly took shape in the following years and looking back I learnt it very quickly and with great intensity which I don't think I could repeat now. Pluto was squaring my natal Pluto at that time. Try to have faith that what is happening/has happened to you will ultimately be of benefit.

@sophiab Thank you for the empathy.

Life still feels directionless despite surviving such intense transits. It is always one step ahead and two steps backward for me for the past couple of years. The good thing is things haven't gotten worse than the status quo of tolerable pain. And I have gratitude for that. The real Q is how much longer I can sustain these ups and downs.

Pluto stays in house up to 30 years, depending on the sign it's transiting so I would not call it the worst. Saturn transiting the 12 is VERY challenging for most people. So much so, I did an entire workshop on it.

I feel Saturn in hard transit to the moon is difficult.  Neptune transits are the worst, for some people but not others.

This may help:

@elsa I was wrong my natal saturn is in 11th... this was followed by saturn in 12 and all the piling up of saturn/jupiter/pluto on my ASC.

It did make up for consecutive years of pain without respite. I got my first real job when saturn left my 12th. Hopefully... life will further improve when pluto leaves my 12th as well.

Am feeling very heavy and extremely sick today. Probably the upcoming lunar eclipse is hitting my chart in all the wrong ways. Was hoping otherwise.

Thanks, elsa. for all the conversations.

the only conversations about the ethereal I have these days is on this forum.

@elsa I have at least 10 more years of Pluto in the 12th house! But ... thank god Saturn is finally leaving my 12th in just 2 short months! ?

PS: I did purchase the workshop ... it was really helpful! I just had to remember to keep holding on and have faith that everything was going to turn out all right. I'm still gripped by that fear ... I can't wait for it to end.

Also, my progressed moon is going into Leo two weeks later ?

@shortpants I'm glad the workshop helped. It's a tough transit.
