I have natal Scorpio/8th house Mars (along with Lillith, Venus, and Neptune in same sign/house.) I have been wondering if a Mars retrograde transit (currently in my 11th house) affects the natal Mars placement. If anyone has any insight into this it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

T Mars will affect your natal Mars when it comes within the orb range degree of squaring your natal Mars.
You didn' t say what degree your natal Mars is in, but Mars went through the entire 0°-29° sign of Aquarius around Nov 10 to Dec 19 of 2016, somewhere along the line in that time peroid, it squared your natal Scorpio Mars. Remember what happened that last time the square occurred while t Mars was in Aquarius for a clue to its energy.
