Simple or complex…. to read/interpret?

My skills are modest so I keep it “simple”. I see what I see, and work with that. Other, more skilled, astrologers have seen complex things in my chart that I would never have seen. I am grateful for their gift.

Simple or complex…. to live?

That’s a whole ‘nother matter. The way my chart is laid out (what’s where and how it all interacts) is definitely complex/complicated to live with or through. And transits always affect more than one thing at a time in my chart.

On the other hand, I knew a person whose chart was simple and easy, and his life was simple and easy.

Well mine is complicated. I’ve never asked Elsa if she agreed. Other astrologers have conceded as much. Sun and North Node conjunct the Descendant in opposition to Scorpio Ascendant on the S Node. Saturn closely inconjunct Ascendant. Moon opposite Venus in a t square to Pluto. Mercury opposite Mars (12) in a t square to Jupiter. Saturn and Chiron in the 5th. I’m just somewhat relieved to be past the point where I think it’s at all possible to achieve any of my dreams.

I think mine is complicated. But I’d like to know what someone else thought.

Hello astroworld27, you could post your chart.  Someone might comment.  Any specific concerns?

I have posted it a few times on the forum. I do get good feedback each time. Here is a link to my last thread about it

My chart is complicated.

Only one astrologer stands out for his help, but he is deceased.  One woman, referred by a busy famous astrologer, got my ascendant wrong by five degrees. I have seen other astrologers make a face that indicated that it was more than they really understood or wanted to deal with.

However, as a senior, I am finishing off my life, so have less pressure and understand myself well enough by now.

I recommend saying affirmations and contributing to others as ways of raising your energy. I also understand the value of positive reinforcement and appreciating people. This does not mean that outer circumstances will always be as pleasing as the final pages of a romance novel. Try to identify your horoscope’s sweet spots and do important activities then.  I recommend checking out locational astrology or Astro*Carto*Graphy to see if a move might bring your good qualities into prominence.

So if you are a beginner, take care during the difficult times, but know that kindness with discretion can do a lot to help you in making your way through the world. Everyone in the world has stuff to deal with. If you can help others, do so. If you have a planet that trines or sextiles another’s stressed planet, your advice or aid can make a good difference.

Using astrology has been enormously helpful and it has saved my complicated life literally more than once.

I have had the good fortune to meet a few people born close to my time and I can see my own modes of being reflected in how they are.  In grad school I met a guy who also worked at a student job where I did.  One day he gave me some of his poems to read. Astonished at the similarity of his phrases and content to mine, I asked his birthday. He was born within 12 hours of me, our rising signs opposite. I did not see him again and presume he dropped out of school. Alas. We could have had fun co-writing poetry.

I’m not sure. I’ve been told it is “very difficult” though. I’m very angular, a Saturn/Mars conjunction on the IC, squaring or opposing mostly everything. Oppositions abound. I wish it were easier, sometimes I just know I must’ve done some real bad shit in past lives or maybe this is an extra special “learning” lifetime.
