I am shy and don’t feel I communicate with flow and grace as most here.
I also stutter and talk too fast when I’m nervous in a crowd or one on one, depending the situation or setting. Or group of people.
I want to learn another language.
But- I’m not confident that I can say it correctly, as I already stumble my language.
I admire those who can speak eloquently and with ease and flow.

Is this possible Mercury placement?
Or would Astrology have any involvement or be helpful? Or any aspects be supportive or a struggle?

Hello! I used to stutter a lot, but with the help of a coach I realized that I should focus on the purpose of communicating first and then everything would follow suit. I have Mercury opposition Saturn. However, my Mercury trine my Moon and Pluto provides a way out. My mother tongue is Greek and I speak English and French fluently. I would check the condition of Mercury to find the difficulties and the ways out.

The thing is, I only have Mercury in the 11th house, in Capricorn and sextile Venus. That’s it.
My Mercury has the least interaction with energy in my chart. I’m well liked & loved. I don’t think fast enough and I get excited and stumble my words.

@woodenbowl That's very interesting, as a planet that has few aspects can show its power and weakness equally intensely. Sextile Venus means that you can be a smooth talker, so you can use that to your advantage. You can also see which houses your Mercury rules, i.e. the ones that have Virgo and Gemini.

@ canscocappy

I’m so wrong.
I do have 7 aspects in Mercury.
I need to write them down and post them here. Maybe you can help me later after I do that? I have to babysit for a couple hours this evening.
I have zero planets in  Gemini but I do have Pluto & Uranus in Virgo in the 7th house. That may be the reason? My dad was a screamer so I’m always a nervous communicator. Unless I’m helping people, then I’m very smooth.

@woodenbowl Yep, Uranus and Pluto in Virgo do play a part in their own right. Of course, I can help you with that 😉

Thank you so much. I’ll be back around in 5-6 hours, and post my Mercury aspects. I really want to learn another language. 🧘‍♂️💕

I haven’t become fluent in any other language besides English (well, and astrology), though I understand a second well, and can read and write in it pretty well. I’m pretty good at picking up meaning and expression in multiple languages, but have just never been immersed enough to practice speaking enough to gain fluency.

There are some language learning apps where you might be able to get some practice away from prying eyes at first. And I would look to the condition of Mercury first. Right on. I’d also check out the planet that rules the sign your Mercury is in (that be Saturn, for Capricorn). Then your 3rd house and its ruler.

Knowing nothing else about your chart, I’ve already seen you’re committed to your own learning, you’ve taken control of it (Mercury in Capricorn). You’re asking good, “teach me how to fish questions.” That’s pretty cool.

Hello! I looked and guess what!

T Mercury going through my 3rd house, also T Venus! In Gemini!

3rd house has a small amount of Taurus, but mostly Gemini.  I Never thought of that! Thank you! No wonder I’m studying so many different things now! I’m in a IFS class, an Astrology class and I am dying to learn Spanish! We used to travel a lot to CR before the pandemic. So, I want to know Spanish and maybe more languages. I wonder if that transit has given me these sudden urges to study so many different things at one time. I’ve got my painting station going, I love art!  I’m reading a couple books at the same time, so many projects at once. Not overwhelming. Very exciting. Want to write a book hahahaha!
I’m also very interested in learning plant care. I think I’m a plant whisperer! I discovered by accident I have a green thumb. I think my plants love me and send me messages.😂🧘‍♂️ But. That is weird. So. Ignore lol!
I love this site. Elsa is so wonderful.
It’s my first go to when I turn on my phone.
I have a lot of real life friends, but you guys are also so very interesting.

It could be the transits, but having Gemini over the 3rd house is great for learning 😀 I'm passionate about languages and like to learn all the time something new (have a few planets inside the 3rd). I only learn from passion... I don't care about the trends...

It is important to choose a language you love its sound as you would feel more inspired and will definitely learn faster. Spanish is a great choice & you will find plenty of materials.

Just go with this flow of energy and do what makes you feel happy 😊
