I don’t know if you mean in a romantic context or not. .. the opposition can be magnetic but there are also some differences which can be a source of frustration.
I have Venus in Virgo and one of my friends has Venus in Pisces exactly opposite. We do share some similar values but the biggest difference I notice is that Venus in Virgo is much more practical than in Pisces. I have a practical view on love and finances and spending. Practical considerations take precedence over my feelings. With Virgo, the mind has a very strong influence in matters of the heart and Venus is called to apply discernment in her feelings. She is the opposite in the way her feelings are more important than practical considerations. She is more impulsive about shopping and buying things for example because she likes it where I will restrain because its not in my budget. She can be a little impractical about romantic choices too…. getting into relationships that won’t lead anywhere because of her strong feelings. Another thing is that sometimes I find her naive in being too trusting of people. I’m more on guard against danger and hidden motives but she seems to be implicitly trusting of people which sometimes blows my mind. In a way I think it’s awesome she’s able to have such an open heart but sometimes I shake my head. I’m not saying one is better than the other. They both have their strengths and weaknesses. I feel like if we were to meet somewhere in the middle wed have the perfect balance.
I think oppositions can bring a strong sense of fascination at the start, you certainly notice each other, but with time.. upon getting to know the person better, the differences and sometimes literally polar opposite behaviour and point of view of the person can leave you scratching your lead like what are they thinking?

I have Venus in Virgo, and have known several people with Venus in Pisces (my MIL included). The following is one example of how this plays out in real life–let’s use Halloween since that’s coming up. 🎃
Venus in Virgo buys a real pumpkin (to be used for pumpkin pie and roasted pumpkin seeds later, or compost).
Venus in Pisces buys a glitter pumpkin.

Knew a couple that had just that. Their opposing Venuses ruled their own Suns and their fixed and cardinal Suns ruled by those mutable Venuses were quincunx each other. They didn’t seem to have a lot in common, the Pisces was a dreamer and the Virgo was practical. There is more than one aspect to a person though, everyone is different, you’d have to know how each person’s other planets work along with their Venus, then compare the two charts, but the validation is in the persons.
