Healing Trauma using your Chart

I’m fortunate to know the time I was born, so my chart is accurate. I had to do a couple years of therapy and EMDR for some pretty rough traumas.
BUT, it was ONLY when I was shown my chart by an elderly lady who took me in and began tutoring me; that I was able to clearly see my way out from the dark, and my way in - to healing.... it’s clearly there for me. I see me. It took a while for me to see it. But, my chart is like looking in a mirror.
I mourn my early life without Astrology knowledge. It somewhat angers me that I didn’t know Astrology from childhood up. I think I would have found my voice and had more confidence. But, better now than never. I’ll leave it at that. How early did you learn to read your chart?

Looking into my chart gives me the ability to genuinely understand my process, I’m able to understand the “why do I do this or that” ... as opposed to how another person handles their issues.

Anyone relate?

I've been studying astrology since I was old enough to read. I grew up in a small village where I could walk to the library and read about religion and history to my hearts content. My paternal Grammy was a Rosicrucian. I don't have a conflict between my relationship with 'Higher Power' and astrology.
Your chart is a guidebook, a map or tool if you will. I think of it as a snapshot of the vehicle your soul is riding in this lifetime.
Eventually you may get a flat or blow a fuse.
Pull over! Where's the manual?

I need to go clean a house, but I’ll be back later to reply and ask another question!

I was introduced to astrology when I was 8 years old. I became committed as I headed into my Saturn return.

It was entertaining and nothing more, up until I began to comprehend Neptune. I have Venus sq Neptune in my chart and when I came to understand the horrendous manifestations of this; that's when I knew astrology could really, really help a person.

I've always been curious about astrology, at first it was the basics such as using it for correspondences within my spellwork, but about 15 years ago I started to teach myself properly.

My healing started when I started learning about Pluto - it explained so much about the darkest parts of me I hadn't really acknowledged before.

I'm still learning (always!) and this is the first place I come to when some aspect or house placement has me scratching my head and it has really opened my eyes in terms of how to apply the information to real life situations.

I started to learn how to read my chart as a teenager. Since then I have read many astrology books and articles and gained as much information as I could.

Studying my Pluto placement has helped.
