Do you see Aquarius as "harmonious"? I read this somewhere; I think it must be someone's offshoot of humanitarian?
My parents were Aquarians. My mother sun and moon. My father, sun, Venus, Mercury and Saturn. Neither of them ever created "harmony" in my recollection.
My mother was way out ahead of everyone and complained with regular people caught on to her trends, forcing her to reinvent herself, yet again.
My father liked to cause problems everywhere he went. He, like most Aquarians I have met, really liked to shock people. Not necessarily, a bad shock, but a surprise. When we finally got a neighbor in the desert, he used to stand on the porch at 5 am and MOCK them at the top of his lungs.
I'm talking about yelling at someone who is maybe 1/6th a mile away. I say, "MOCK" because their last name included that sound. I am going to change their name but he would yell this (if their name was Machamillion).
"MOCK! MOCK! MOCK-A-MILLION!
MOCK! MOCK! MOCK-A-MILLION!
MOCK! MOCK! MOCK-A-MILLION!
WAKE UP MOCK-A-MILLION!"
I don't know. Didn't seem harmonious to me.
Then there was my friend Leon's gf who became his wife. She was wearing a shirt that said, "F Shit Up" on it, when he met her. Harmonious? Not really.
What do you think. Have you met a harmonious Aquarius?
Yes, actually my boyfriend. Sun and Mercury in Aqua, but, he has Venus-Pluto square, Venus-Saturn square, Mars, Saturn, and Pluto in Libra, and Venus in Cap 8th house. He loves harmony and structure. Always in order, serious, and a bit stiff. He is always very careful how he acts, even when we are alone he is never relaxed completely, he needs a lot of time to let himself go. he was mischievous as a child, but who wasn't? 
He is a developer and he has a way of thinking that's very abstract to me, and logical. My ex was also Aqua. Oh, boy was he eccentric, always had to be in the center of the attention, prone to drugs and alcohol, funny guy but actually very unhappy.

Even though I am married to one, it took me several hours to think about this. I think the comment about offshoot of humanitarian is on target.
As for being "harmonious", only when they think or feel that others around them see them as being the smartest people on planet earth.
These folks generally have wonderful solutions and suggestions about being able to right a wrong, build something better to lift up mankind. They truly mean well, unfortunately, they fail to see that sufficient research, proper planning, team building, etc., may not be their strong suit. There is something else I have noticed about these folks, if they do encounter someone who they think and feel may be their intellectual equivalent, they can blow hot - cold on a personal level. It can be interesting to watch. I like my other half -- we work well together. He is better in an immediate crisis, I am better at picking up the pieces and getting things back on track. I would not say we are "harmonious", we just bring different personality traits and strengths to the table.
Haha what? Harmonious? Noooo! Aquarians are the contrarians of the zodiac. I remember hearing once that the way you piss off an Aquarian, is by telling them they're predictable! 😂
I had to reset my password for this topic. No, Aquarians are not harmonious. My dad is Aquarian and he loves to make others uncomfortable. He has Sun and Mars conjunct in Aquarius and, yeah, he will yell across a store just to get attention and try to embarrass someone. Plus, he thinks he is smarter than everyone else.
My Ascendant in Aquarius is not exactly harmonious either. I can't go too long without rebelling and going my own thing. I just can't follow along in harmony for long.
Even though both of Aquarius' rulers are in the Sun's ruled by Venus, I still get the urge to rebel.
I think of Gary Cole's role in Talladega Nights, when we got himself thrown out of Applebee's because he couldn't handle the harmonious family environment. I'm not that extreme, but, I will pull away and isolate when I feel irritated with people.
Aquarian elitism can be a projection of personal Saturn and what it requires of the individual. That tension between an Aquarius and his or her Saturn sets them up as outsiders and rebels. With maturity and some work - Saturn becomes liberation for an Aquarius.
Aquarians are frequently drawn to partner with or marry Earthy types. My neighbor next door is a Sun Mars Aquarian and his wife is a Capricorn.
