There is plenty to be found about the trial on Twitter. Do we have a birthtime for her?

@notmycircus I was looking at the housekeeping manual. The energy of that thing! You get a good sense from it how people moving in these circles view and treat others. There's something inhuman about it. Incredibly creepy.

@sophiab I'm glad you mentioned this because I hadn't clicked anything. It was interesting to read. I got a different hit off it but it was because of a client I worked with, recently.

He aspires to be a butler... he would LOVE to be hired, not by these people or anything / bad people, but just in general he's taken years of training so he might land of of these type assignments. He's a very intelligent man with deep insight into the dynamics in play in these relationships.

I really enjoyed talking to him. It was a privilege because butlers talk!

My point is these jobs are highly sought after. I am pretty sure the client is going to get what he wants, but only because of his high caliber, plus his intense training over a number of years.

@elsa I'm sure it takes a lot of intelligence and skill, probably having Libra/Scorpio would be helpful for negotiating these super delicate boundaries and confidentiality. My feeling response was not about the professional butler, but about a relationship that involves one person almost being cancelled out in the presence of another. I got that sense from the directions in the manual.

@sophiab yes, but that's the job. I am talking about straight up butler-ing, without crime being considered.

You are there to take care of the house and guest, etc. in whatever way they wish.  So you're not a non-person. You are a person who can do such a thing.. you've got to be bright, sensitive, instinctual, and probably no less than magical in order to pull it off.

The butler is running it, on some level. He is in control of the stage. I mean, he's asked to perform these duties but what and how and IF he does his job are choices he's given.  It's a one in million job that one in a million can manage.

I'm probably disrupting the thread. I apologize!

@elsa It is interesting to hear the butler's take on it. I realised after posting that I'm probably sensitive to this subject (butlers/the notion of servants) because of being born into a culture with a class system, which can be pretty suffocating. America is a different landscape entirely!

@sophiab Thanks. I thought it was interesting.

On the culture, it's not really American.  I think like you do, sort of, outside of this one client STRIVING to get a job just like this.

My husband spent 1/2 his life in South America where being a maid is a good, respectable job.  He doesn't know why Americans think otherwise. It's been a lifelong curiosity to him.

I have never had a maid, but he grew up with one, once his family was flush. Maids are treated very well in that culture. I mean, people are working and it's respectable.

As for here and now, maids are in demand, at least in some places. I mean, finding someone you can trust. I have heard this from clients from time to time.  They make a good bit of money, simply because no one cleans much anymore. I mean we're just become complacent in this regard... many people.  So people who have the money to hire a maid, often have to look high and low and compete.

In fact, my last client who mentioned this to me, told me her (new) maid left her instructions... which she adhered to.  These would be things to make her job (and the client's house) run smoother.

So it's like anything else. It's really embarrassing to be an astrologer (to many). But I am a really good one so I can live with the scorn!

@sophiab The butler being instructed to never look Epstein in the eye—that caught my attention.

I watch a Turkish drama called Magnificent Century, and when painter Leo came to Sultan Suleiman’s palace, he was instructed not to ever look the Sultan in the eyes. This scene was the first thing I thought of when I read what the butler said.

@notmycircus That sounds like an interesting show! I was reminded of a Korean show I watched where one character played a grim reaper, in other words, he represented death. To look him (or other grim reapers) in the eye meant to encourage your own death. The show is called Goblin.

@notmycircus this is common on movie sets. I've heard of it many times. Tom Cruise for example. Never mind his eyes, you can't look at him at all... if you do, you're fired.

I actually forgive this or perhaps understood it, or thought I did.  A person is at work... trying to stay in character.

That may be right but I have learned a lot since. I know think there may be another reason no one will mention.

@notmycircus

Having worked in some high profile hospitality settings including a brief stint at a private estate, I'm impressed with the thoroughness of the manual.  Very little is unusual, but the detail of explained instruction is notable.

I feel like this trial is THE most important thing happening atm. The timing of the trial with the moronic variant also hitting the media is not a coincidence. It should be on every front page. It was on page 41 of one of the top 'serious' papers here (UK) this weekend.

@sophiab Wow that's a good point about the timing of the variant and the trial. Haha I was just typing the word "circus" and it auto-corrected to virus. I guess auto-correct wasn't too far off!

Do you think this is it now? I fear they will offer up this conviction, close the records and we never hear about the power players on the other end of the transactions. :/

@jana I had the same thoughts, maybe this response is a symptom of the ptsd effect of dealing with narcissists in everyday life? I wish to feel more confident but only time will tell, hopefully Uranus can bring us positive surprises. In light of this verdict the photo of P. Andrew with Guiffre and Maxwell is a hard one to smooth under the carpet!
