The eclipses in August that year, 2017, with nodes in Leo, Aqua were a big turning point for many. This chart is in the aftermath of that. Moon is tight with SN here and the Moon in Aqua dominates the chart for me It was a nice Jupiter transit in Libra but opposing Uranus in Aries the whole time, so choices were made, it was a karmic time for sure.

Because in reality, 6 years have passed since then... but the guy and the girl kept in touch on and off all these 6 years from afar. Even the guy initiated a physical meeting and the girl most of the times would hesitate and refuse...

These two planets are now in the same sign, Pisces, until Saturn leaves for Aries in May 2025, it will re-enter Pisces until Feb 2026 by which time Neptune will be in Aries. The period you are discussing involves a 7 year Saturn cycle to Neptune. It may be why you are thinking about the relationship. Do you feel there is still some karma to resolve that was not dealt with in 2017? If so, it may play out while Saturn and Neptune are both in Pisces.
My other sense from the event chart is transiting Saturn trine Uranus trine Mercury/Mars in the fire signs. Would you say the experience of this relationship led to an awakening of sorts? This may have been its purpose, to dislodge you/both of you from the reality you were currently in and put you more in line with your truth.
A furtherpoint - Venus was in Leo by transit at this time, and there is a Venus retrograde in Leo happening this year - June to October I think?? So you may see something activated again during that period.

Awakening - this is definitely a relationship that awakened both me and him. We both confronted our demons, fears, scars... mainly in the sexual field. We felt very open, deep, real and full of passion with each other.
We fulfilled many fantasies that with others would not have dared to float on the surface.
Venus in Leo soon - "things will float again" - what does this mean? So the chart indicates that we will return? Won't we come back?
If karma is taken care of, does that mean we are done and everyone of us is free to move on with their lives?

@pluto Trust your spidey senses (intuition, psychic nature) if it "woke up" again in your mind, feelings then maybe there is another encounter in the near future and you are already aware of it, hence thinking about it again.
Venus retrograde can bring old love into focus again, I just noticed the fact that in Sept 2017 Venus was in Leo where the retrograde is taking place this year.
The Leo-Aqua nodal period had a strong awakening vibe I think so it's not surprising you had this encounter.
With karma between people normally you can sense when there is a feeling within of unfinished business that needs to play out, to be released or resolved.
