I think the build up to this eclipse will be potentially stress, due to Mars in Libra squaring Pluto, and also activating the nodal axis. By the time of the new moon, Mars will be in Scorpio and trine Saturn.

Eris is a concern right now for me as this asteroid has been conjunct the north node in Aries for a while, and will be for this new moon/eclipse. My sense is that Eris was a factor in the natural disasters which took place recently in north Africa (Moroccan earthquake, Libyan floods), perhaps due to this Aries conjunction aspecting Uranus, Pluto, Neptune.

Mars getting involved with these aspects would potentially amplify the affects of dynamic change, transformation (on a Cardinal level), but could be destructive. As mentioned Mars will be in Scorpio by the time of eclipse, so it will be Mercury, Sun, Moon building towards the square with Pluto and the nodes.

That's as far as I got with this chart!

Pluto will have recently turned direct on 11th October, so is stationing/intense for this eclipse.

Saturn is at 0* station degree, goes direct November 4th at 0.31.

Venus opposing Saturn but waning. Not a great fan of Venus in Virgo as it can be too/extreme perfectionist regarding the body. Saturn in Pisces may both increase and dissolve such critical issues.

@sophiab You're right about Saturn in Pisces either increasing or dissolving the negative and critical nature of Venus in Virgo. I am unsure which way it would go but l have a sense that Lillith just having entered Virgo would color things in a different way. It opposes Saturn and it's tight. Maybe she will throw off the shackles of conditioning and slavery to constructs. She is non-compliant and refuses to submit. Saturn in Pisces ought to reward faith in the unknown, the universe or God and letting go of how should things look. There is no one way things should look. We don't have to know but we need to trust. We need to let some things go and surrender at some point. science/health/body/service/discernment receipts have come in. They weren't the saviors that most people thought they were. Perhaps Venus will be asking if our values have been violated.

I keep thinking about how we have just gone through the first Venus retrograde through Leo in our entire lives. It isn't reflected in the chart in any way but I can't help but feel Venus is beginning anew, just like that Botticelli painting, Her trip through Leo has taken us to our heart. This could be a big shift in its infancy.

The eclipse with Sun ,Moon, Mercury and S.N could be the beginning of a new way Venus expresses herself in relationships and it feels a bit Karmic you know especially since opposing that we have Eris hanging out over there with the NN and also Chiron opposite Mercury. Looking back to 2004 could give us a few hints too since that was the last time we were in that eclipse cycle.

Sorry to ramble so long. These were just some thoughts that I was having.

This thing will square my Sun. It will be a big one for me.🙄

I have this eclipse conjunct my natal Pluto. This sounds really intense because it's squaring transiting Pluto. This happened in 2004 and it was a major year for me because my grandmother passed away, but that was *months before* the eclipse, so not sure if that counts?  I can't remember anything else major happening. Has anyone else experienced an eclipse conjunct their natal Pluto with dramatic effect?

This will fall in my 8th house and square my natal Jupiter in the 11th. I will need to ponder on this one 🤔.
