I think the build up to this eclipse will be potentially stress, due to Mars in Libra squaring Pluto, and also activating the nodal axis. By the time of the new moon, Mars will be in Scorpio and trine Saturn.Â
Eris is a concern right now for me as this asteroid has been conjunct the north node in Aries for a while, and will be for this new moon/eclipse. My sense is that Eris was a factor in the natural disasters which took place recently in north Africa (Moroccan earthquake, Libyan floods), perhaps due to this Aries conjunction aspecting Uranus, Pluto, Neptune.Â
Mars getting involved with these aspects would potentially amplify the affects of dynamic change, transformation (on a Cardinal level), but could be destructive. As mentioned Mars will be in Scorpio by the time of eclipse, so it will be Mercury, Sun, Moon building towards the square with Pluto and the nodes.
That's as far as I got with this chart!Â
Red October!
Pluto will have recently turned direct on 11th October, so is stationing/intense for this eclipse.Â
Saturn is at 0* station degree, goes direct November 4th at 0.31.
Venus opposing Saturn but waning. Not a great fan of Venus in Virgo as it can be too/extreme perfectionist regarding the body. Saturn in Pisces may both increase and dissolve such critical issues.Â
I have this eclipse conjunct my natal Pluto. This sounds really intense because it's squaring transiting Pluto. This happened in 2004 and it was a major year for me because my grandmother passed away, but that was *months before* the eclipse, so not sure if that counts? Â I can't remember anything else major happening. Has anyone else experienced an eclipse conjunct their natal Pluto with dramatic effect?
This will fall in my 8th house and square my natal Jupiter in the 11th. I will need to ponder on this one 🤔.
