Do Scorpio men envy driven and hardworking people?

I have noticed throughout my life in the working world that whenever there has been a Scorpio manager, and it is usually a guy (women are different), he has had it out for anyone under him who was:

1. Driven and worked harder than others

2. Well off in a superficial way (better looking, more admired by women, and/or came from a wealthy background)

It has gotten to a point with me where I avoid jobs where the boss is likely to be a Scorpio (if I can find the birth day which I try to look for a lot). It seems as if Scorpio males in position of power seem to be quite insecure, easily offended, and have it out for whoever is ambitious and hungry. They are likely to play the under-handed games and make life hell for these specific kinds of people.

I think Scorpios mostly like to do their own thing without someone breathing down their neck or watching their every move. This is why they rather be in a position of power. They are sensitive to threat though, those spidey senses just know.

Envy of a pretty normal human emotion across the zodiac board, when someone has something we lack but want. It just takes an evolved soul to not go there.

The worse expriences I've had with bosses, consistently, were Libras. Too laid back, never addressed and put out fires early enough, then shit just escalated and hit the fan and then would do whatever to save face and continue being liked, including throwing others the bus. Yet I often see them end up in leadership positions because of their diplomacy and charm.

I think Capricorns, Scorpios and Aries make good leaders because they'd rather be feared than loved. If they have integrity they can make great bosses. But if they don't, then it's pretty bad too, they can push way too hard. I've seen that too.

I said feared but I meant more as respected, not like literally feared.

I had this experience with a Scorpio woman. I was surprised, because I know quite a few Scorpios well. None were like this. They preferred to do their thing their way in the background.

This particular one was deeply insecure, hungry for recognition and making herself indispensable (i. e. kissing the bosses' asses). Shortly after I was hired, this one slunk out of the background and started ordering us all around. Being a typical Leo, I rolled my eyes at her and continued on with my day.

That eventually led to my undoing lol. Since I didn't take her seriously, she reported me - behind my back of course - to the bosses. Two months after I left, she's worse than ever, my friends who I'm still in touch with report back. The supervisor left in December with no replacement hired yet, and this one is allowed ? to run wild. Honestly? Even if I stayed on, I don't think I would have been able to be around that nonsense for much longer.

It would have been fun to check out the synastry, but I only had a date and no year - and no interest in comparing the charts. ?

I have seen jealous Scorpios before... jealous of another person's energy, that they can't access. I've also seen Scorpio very jealous of a person with more talent then they have themselves.

In fact, I dated a man like this for 3 years.  Sun, Mercury, Venus and Saturn in Scorpio, in the 8th, no less.  He was tortured by the levels of success some could reach when he could not. This consumed him and probably prevented him from achieving the level of success his talent warranted.

@elsa,

wow, you're a very fair person. Most people would just tell only the great side of Scorpio, which obviously exists! It's nice to hear a fair (Libra) assessment of the sign!

@elsa Yup, ran into this myself many many times in both personal and professional life. It never really are the women, it is usually the men. The cruel irony is that these men are usually from well to do backgrounds like being trust fund babies yet they amount to being chronic underachievers.

I cannot help but think that Cassius from the play Julius Caesar is the embodiment of a Scorpio male.

Sometimes I think CtH is projecting. These things you mention I see in Leo men. Now I can say I have not been around scorpio male energy at all so maybe scorpio males are like Leo males without the sparkles.
