Does anyone use them? Do they work? They seem really complicated. But then again moon and rising signs used to seem really complicated too 😉

I have been following mine for six months or so.  I use for my place of birth and not where I live.    By checking past events and running the diurnal for birth or residence I found birth place made more sense.

I was searching on the boards for this topic as today I saw in the diurnal that on this day each year (give or take a day) is the day that my natal Pluto's degree is on the MC of the diurnal chart.  I have a grand cross natally and this date hits all four points of it within one degree.  That got my attention.  I can't think of anything before a few years ago yet, but in 2011 my friend died suddenly of MRSA,  in 2013 there was an abrupt and definitive change in a long friendship, and this year  i was given the news that my kitty is very hypoglycemic and it's definitely a shock and decision time.

Want to add that there was supporting progressions and transits at the same time as the above events.  The diurnal can narrow down timing from what I've learned.

It's a chart for the day based on your birth information.  As I use my place of birth I make a chart for my place and time of birth but with the current date.  One does need correct for daylight savings time.  Example is I was born in January so in winter I use my actual birth time, but after the time change this weekend I'll advance the time one hour.  This needs to be done when you use a computer generated chart to correct for the change in time.

Only the current date or what about a day in the future?
